Josh D’Amaro takes the mantle as CEO on March 18th, 2026, and he has big, Mickey Mouse yellow shoes to fill. There’s no doubt that the leader of the media giant will bear the expectations of millions of fans and Cast Members alike, but he has one thing going for him ahead of time — people seem to love him.

Soarin’ Around the World is getting a patriotic makeover for the 250th birthday of the U.S.A., changing into Soarin’ Across America. Disney had already shared some details about the new version of the ride, but now we know when it will debut.
When you have dozens of hotels in Disney World, at least one of them is likely getting a refurbishment at a time!
Treehouse Villas
Over at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, you’ll find some of the coolest hotel rooms that Disney World has to offer — Treehouse Villas! These villas are massive and great for a large party, but they’re a bit outdated. Thankfully, they’re now getting refurbished.
A fan-favorite ride is coming BACK to Magic Kingdom, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin has been closed in Magic Kingdom since 2025 to get a major refurbishment. It’s reopening on April 8th with new blasters, new interactive targets, a new ride scene…AND a new ride photo!
