Disneyland has NEW RULES that you need to be aware of before your next visit…
…And WE here at DFB have some new Disneyland rules that have become sacred to us, too.
There are so many new and exciting additions coming to Disneyland!
At D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, so many new projects were announced for both Disney World and Disneyland. It was revealed that Avengers Campus would double the number of rides currently in the land. Also in Disney California Adventure, a new ‘Coco’ boat ride was announced along with an ‘Avatar’ expansion. While a majority of the changes are taking place in DCA, Disneyland will be getting a new attraction that will rotate with Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. We have finally gotten a look at what the new animatronic in this new show will look like.
Disneyland has been around since 1955, which means it has played home to some wacky secrets for quite some time.
The Disneyland Resort is packed with a ton of history — and you can experience most of it at the parks today. From secret ride features to the remnants of old attractions to wild ideas that never came into fruition, if you go searching for Disneyland for some fascinating secrets, then fascinating secrets you will find!
It’s happening! Disneyland’s newest attraction is about to open on July 17th, and we just got a sneak peek inside. We’re kinda freaking out, so let us show you this history-making attraction.
Walt Disney — A Magical Life is a new show coming to the Main Street Opera House and will be a rotating show along with Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. Ever since this was announced at D23, fans have been shocked to hear that a Walt Disney animatronic is being built for the show. Did Imagineering showcase Walt’s legacy? Come with us and find out!
We’re always looking for ways to save money on Disney vacations, merchandise, food, and more. Hey, Disney’s expensive — we’re doing all we can to make it less so!
If you’re traveling to Downtown Disney soon and are hoping to grab some classic eats for just a little bit less money, we’ve got some great news. There’s a new deal happening at ONE restaurant that serves up one of our favorite snacks — you won’t want to miss this deal, Disney fans!
The Disneyland Resort has a limited number of character dining experiences, but that doesn’t mean each one will be right for you and your family.
The Resort currently offers only four different locations where you can find character dining experiences. Each location has its own set of pros and cons that are worth considering before booking a reservation. We’ll be going over those details so you’re fully informed before your next Disneyland vacation!
Since its opening in 2019, Rise of the Resistance has been one of the most popular attractions at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. However, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t things fans want changed about the ride.
The massive Star Wars attraction — which combines two ride-style experiences, heavy theming, and massive environments into one of the most immersive offerings in any theme park — draws long waits, but often falls victim to technical issues and downtimes, which was a common refrain of complaint when we asked our readers what they would change about the ride.
Disneyland is going to look A LOT different in 2026, and that includes some notable absences!
The Disneyland Resort’s 70th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing, bringing a lot of fun to the parks that you can experience now all the way into the summer of 2026. After that point, get ready to say goodbye to offerings like the Paint the Night Parade and the Key to Disneyland interactive souvenir. We won’t just be losing these anniversary offerings in 2026 — there are a few Disneyland Resort experiences that are sunsetting in 2025 (or have ALREADY CLOSED) that you’ll be hard-pressed to experience ever again in 2026 and beyond.
In 2023, Disney World added a LONG-AWAITED character to the Magic Kingdom’s Haunted Mansion. The only problem? His placement!
The Hatbox Ghost is arguably the most famous single animatronic in Disney history, mainly due to its urban legend status. The figure, which features an effect where the character’s head would “disappear” and then “reappear” inside the hatbox he was holding, had been very briefly included in the original Disneyland Haunted Mansion’s attic during soft opening previews as well as some marketing materials. However, by the time the attraction opened to the general public, the figure was nowhere to be seen.
All it took was a bit of faith, trust, and pixie dust to reopen this super fun meet and greet in Disneyland.
This meet and greet spot was closed for refurbishment for what felt like years (okay, so it was nine months), and we’re grabbing our autograph books and pens and heading straight to Fantasyland.
