There’s some big news happening in Disneyland this week!
We’re LIVE from the opening day of Avengers Campus today but that’s not the ONLY news from Disneyland! We’ve got an update on everything new in food, construction, and merchandise at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney, and the Disneyland Resort hotels!
June is Pride Month, which means there are all sorts of new treats and merch!
We’ve been trying several pride treats around the parks including a new Dole Whip flight (!!!), a rainbow crepe, a rainbow Mickey dome cake, and SO many more! Now, Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney announced their own Pride Month offering!
Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Downtown Disney has introduced a colorful new dish.
We’ve tried all kinds of yummy Pride Month treats in Walt Disney World today and the celebrations are hitting the west coast! Over at Disneyland Resort, the chefs at Splitsville have got a new Rainbow Tataki special for the month of June. If it’s as tasty as it is pretty, we’d say you’re in for a real treat.
Sprinkles Cupcakes comes up with a lot of fun flavors! And there’s a Sprinkles on each coast — one at Disney Springs in Florida and another in Downtown Disney at Disneyland!
And although we love their standard flavors that appear from time to time (hello, S’moreo Cupcake), we really dig the special boozy flavors, like Margarita Cupcakes and Banana Fosters Cupcakes (which have rum!).
Education is very important, and teachers have certainly met some unique challenges over the past year due to the pandemic.
But we’ve seen Disney honor teachers over the past year by donating school supplies, and we’ve also seen teachers get special hotel and restaurant discounts.
Disneyland recently reopened to guests, and we’ve had a great time being back in the parks!
Although the parks are only available to California residents right now, anyone can visit Downtown Disney for some dining and shopping. And soon, you’ll be able to grab some cupcakes again at Downtown Disney, because Sprinkles finally has a reopening date!
Shout out from the West Coast to all our DFB friends! HOLLA!
We’ve been to Disneyland Resort, hanging around Disney California Adventure, Disneyland, and Downtown Disney to check in to see what’s been up since we were last there. And we’ve got TONS of updates for you, so let’s get to them!
Ever since Disneyland reopened in April, things have only gotten better, and more magical, by the day!
Iconic snacks have come back, hotels are reopening, a new Passholder program is in the works, and Avengers Campus is REALLY happening. Another surefire sign of a return to happy normalcy? Disneyland is extending hours in July!
Oh, beignets — they are a staple at Disneyland and we love them oh so much.
And we’re not just talking about the Mickey Beignets, but also those awesome beignets from Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen at Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort! We’ve tried the Mardi Gras Glazed Beignets and Snickerdoodle Beignets, but now there’s a new beignet in town and it’s not like anything we’ve ever seen before.
