Dining options in Disney World are constantly changing.
Japan pavilion
Price increases hit some of our favorite restaurants, new dining locations take over old ones, and seasonal menus come and go throughout the parks. Thankfully, these changes can lead to exciting new experiences in the park, and Disney has shared that EPCOT would be getting just that this summer. Shiki-Sai Izakaya and Sushi is a table-service restaurant coming to the Japan pavilion, presenting a “festive dining experience in a sharable Izakaya-style.” We’ve been waiting for the news of its exact location since it has been announced, and now, we have a new clue about its potential whereabouts.
While the Magic Kingdom fireworks get the big reputation, the fireworks at EPCOT do have a niche but loyal following of Disney fans.

Yep, EPCOT has hosted nightly fireworks shows since the park opened in 1982 — creating four decades’ worth of memories for many Disney World visitors. Many Disney fans even argue that they enjoy the fireworks in EPCOT more than the ones in Magic Kingdom, due to lower crowds, more vantage points from which to view the show, as well as the contemporary music that accompanies the fireworks. If you’re a fan of EPCOT, the park’s firework shows, or if you’re hoping to become one, this post is for you!

Okay we’re going to let you in on a little secret here — if you want some of the best food in EPCOT, you absolutely CANNOT skip the France Pavilion.
France Pavilion
We’re big fans of the quick service restaurant there, Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie with its delicious pastries and baked goods, and if you’re craving ice cream, there’s no better spot in the park than L’Artisan des Glaces. We recently had a pretty spectacular meal at Chefs de France as well, and Monsieur Paul is a great choice for high-end eats. But now, we’re taking you along to another restaurant in the pavilion — one you’ll find all the way in the back!
Disney World occasionally closes rides and restaurants for refurbishments and updates. Next week, there are planned closures in three of the four Disney World parks.

Don’t worry too much, though — so far, each park only has ONE temporary closure (although more unplanned closures could pop up if rides experience technical difficulties or there’s bad weather in the area).
