And spoiler alert…we spotted a TON of new merch! So, without further ado, here are all the latest food, merchandise, and construction updates from EPCOT!
Disney World seems to be preparing for a busy holiday season, especially in November — we’ve already seen park pass reservations getting gobbled up for Thanksgiving.

Disney World recently released more park pass reservations for November, but now, the resort has just extended park hours for one particular weekend: November 13th through 15th.
Bad news for lovers of Moroccan food.

As you might know, we’re big fans of Spice Road Table in EPCOT. Now, with Disney taking over all Morocco Pavilion operations, it appears there may be some trouble getting a table at this waterfront spot soon.
Earlier this year, Disney announced massive layoffs coming to the Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products division. Recently, we were all devastated by the news that many performers from some of our very favorite Disney World shows had been affected by these layoffs.

In fact, Actors’ Equity Association indicated that 720 of their members working at Disney had lost their jobs there. Now, Disney has issued a statement regarding these entertainment layoffs.

Honestly, we’re totally ready for it to be the NEW YEAR, which will bring plenty of exciting things to Walt Disney World.
Since the reopening of Disney World, character meet and greets have looked a little bit different.

You can spot your favorites in the character cavalcades at each park, or even frolicking in the grass at EPCOT. Recently, we saw Anna and Elsa greet guests from a distance and now, another crowd-favorite is returning to the meet and greet scene!
We’ve been keeping an eye on all of the construction going on at the France pavilion in EPCOT for the area that will become home to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, as well as La Crêperie de Paris!

Recently, we got a sneak peek at the attraction marquee coming to the ride building, and today we saw that had already been INSTALLED!
Ciao, DFB friends! We have just visited Italy via the World Showcase at EPCOT, and are enjoying some lovely Italian food and drinks!

But we’ve spotted some awesome NEW Italy merchandise, too!
At this point, there’s no denying it! We’ve got our Starbucks holiday mug, ALL the holiday shirts and sweaters, and even some delicious holiday treats. It may only be October, but the holiday season is starting right now (at least in Disney World)!

Today, we’re stepping back inside EPCOT’s newest restaurant: Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Crafts, Drafts, and Barbecue in The American Adventure Pavilion. Will it be as good as the last time? Or perhaps even BETTER?! Let’s see how this BBQ joint is holding up a little over half a year after opening!
