Disney World is a great destination for the young and the young at heart!

Disney World is a great destination for the young and the young at heart!
But sometimes, even the “young at heart” are looking for a more sophisticated dining experience.
November is almost here, and a lot is going on in Disney World!
There are already holiday decorations up in Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, and we’re sure to see even more soon once Halloween is over. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is coming up too, as is EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays. So, we’re sure a lot of you are planning to get to Disney World soon to check out the festivities. If you’re going next week, you’ll need to check out the park hours and grab some Park Pass Reservations to get into the parks — so we’ve compiled all of that info right here just for you!
It’s almost Halloween, and just how SCARY are the ride wait times at Disney World?
We’ve seen some HIGH wait times this month but we’ve also seen some wait times going down. As we head into the holiday (and usually busier) season in Disney World, we’re taking a look at the wait times during the last week of October!
Going to Disney World isn’t always easy these days!
You have to buy your tickets, make park pass reservations, book a hotel, figure out where to eat, and oh yeah — pay attention to all the construction going on around Disney World! New attractions, restaurants, and plenty more projects are being worked on daily, and we do our best to keep up with it so you don’t have to. Chances are a lot has changed since we last checked in, so let’s take a look at the biggest construction updates from this week in Disney World!
Get your lightcycles ready! Tron Lightcycle Run is opening in Magic Kingdom on April 4, 2023.
Now, Disney has released some new information as we get closer to the opening date!
The Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed in Magic Kingdom for what feels like FOREVER (it’s been almost four years!) due to the construction of TRON Lightcycle Run, but things might be changing soon. 👀
We’ve been keeping an eye on TRON construction progress as well as everything happening with the railroad, but Disney has not yet announced when the classic attraction will reopen. That said, Disney has just released an update that could mean big changes!
Which side are you on: Standard theme park food in Disney, or unique Disney offerings all the way?
We’ve got members of our team on both sides of the matter. Most quick-service restaurants are more likely to have some more classic theme park offerings, whereas table service or sit-down meals can sometimes have more adventurous offerings — but there are plenty of exceptions to this! We headed to a quick-service spot in Magic Kingdom, the Golden Oak Outpost, to try some of their more standard options that are presented with a few unique additions.
Mr. Toad fans and popcorn bucket collectors: GET READY! THIS IS NOT A DRILL. 🚨
Disney has released all kinds of popcorn buckets in the past, including an Annual Passholder-exclusive design, a design themed to Zero from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and many more. And don’t even get us started on the Figment popcorn bucket saga of 2022! But soon a new popcorn bucket will be hitting the scene and we have a feeling this one is going to be VERY popular!
If you’re visiting Disney World this week, you’re in for a special surprise.
Sometimes Disney surprises us a lot — they do things we never expected, show us things we never thought we’d see in the parks, or introduce us to a little extra pixie dust that can change our lives! There are times you walk into a park day and discover you get something extra special, or you can follow DFB and we’ll tell you when special events are happening — like the Thunderbirds flying over Magic Kingdom this Thursday!
Well, we’re about to get into the ho-ho-ho-holiday spirit because it will soon be Christmastime at Disney World!
We’re ready to see all the pretty decorations, enjoy some fabulous food and entertainment from the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, and go to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. But the holidays also bring something else to Disney World: crowds. So just how busy will Disney World be during the holidays?
