Wow! Nothing like starting your Tuesday with a whole crop of Disney news!
This morning Disney World has already announced a change to the Rise of the Resistance Boarding Group process and THREE (count ’em, three) resort hotel reopening dates. Here’s when a much-loved resort will be fully open again!
We’ve been anxiously awaiting reopening announcements for several Disney resorts for months now!
Some of Disney’s resorts have opened fully, like the Grand Floridian, while others are still only partially opened with the DVC sections operating. On top of that, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is currently under construction — undergoing a massive refurbishment to be completed next summer. We previously received an opening date for Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, but now it seems as though that date has been pushed back!
When Disney World reopened earlier this year, after the park closures, several restaurants and hotels reopened with it, but many remained closed.
Over time, we’ve seen some spots reopen, but several are still closed. Today, however, Disney has announced when one fan-favorite resort — Disney’s Wilderness Lodge — will be reopening!
We’ll often see Disney raise prices in the theme parks. Sometimes, the increases are a few cents added to a Mickey pretzel, and other times, it’s a large increase in ticket prices. Walt Disney World had big plans in the making like the huge EPCOT overhaul including attractions, expansions, and an entirely new look. Many of these projects are pushing forward while others were suspended indefinitely. With all the changes, can we safely assume what items will increase in price and when? We’ve gathered a list of items that could see price increases in 2021, based on previous years.
It may seem like we’ve tried EVERY holiday treat at this point…but we haven’t!
Disney continues to add little holiday treats here and there, and of course we have to try them! On our visit to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, we found an adorable cupcake to put us in the holiday spirit!
Guests at Disney’s Riviera Resort were required to evacuate the building earlier this evening.
Even though Disney World is the most magical place on Earth, things can still occasionally go awry. Sometimes guests may need to evacuate a ride, restaurant, or building for their own safety.
Things may be different this year, but we’ve still seen fan-favorites like the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and food events at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort return in modified ways.
And now it’s time for more foodie fun at Walt Disney World! The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort have announced several specialty food and beverage events that will be coming early next year!
