Halloween Time has officially kicked off in Disneyland!

That means we’re starting to eat some new Halloween snacks (bring it ON!), checking out the AWESOME new character costumes (seriously, the Halloween costumes this year ARE THE BEST), and getting ready to attend our first Oogie Boogie Bash of the season next week! Today, Haunted Mansion Holiday opened and you won’t BELIEVE the lines to ride it.

Halloween Time in Disneyland Resort!
We’ve seen decorations start to show up around the park (including the ICONIC giant Mickey pumpkin on Main Street, U.S.A.), and today, September 2nd, marks the official start of the Halloween season at Disneyland Resort. Let’s take a look at what we can expect from this year’s festivities.
Believe it or not, rope dropping a ride isn’t always the right option in a Disney park.

If you are set on riding every attraction without Disney’s skip-the-line service Genie+, then rope dropping a ride might be for you. But, for some, grabbing a pumpkin spice latte on Main Street, U.S.A. is a must-do first thing in the morning. If you are someone who wants a slow and peaceful morning in the park, you should consider booking a sit-down restaurant for breakfast to kick your day off. And now, there’s another reason to go this route, because one Disneyland restaurant is adding a breakfast option!
Disneyland introduced a new annual pass system last year called Magic Key, and it’s quite different from the previous system!
Exclusive Magic Key Lounge
There are new spaces around Disneyland that are exclusive to Magic Key holders, as well as new tiers and pricing. We’ve also seen a lot of exclusive merchandise for these guests, and now, there are some BIG discounts that are about to be available for Magic Key holders in Disneyland!
Disney Vacation Club is Disney’s version of a timeshare and it comes with its own special perks!
