Yes, you heard that right. Our server lit our meal on fire!
We love sipping wine, snacking on appetizers, and sitting by the campfire. We love it even more when that fire is on our dish in front of us!
If you ask us, it’s always a good day when NEW eats come to the Disney parks.
Of course, we’re pretty biased because that just means we’ll eventually get to try them out ourselves! Recently, new menu items debuted at Lamplight Lounge Boardwalk Dining over at Disney California Adventure, so we headed to check them out. Does this waterfront, walk-up dining spot have food as good as the views? Let’s find out!
We’ve eaten at EVERY Disney World restaurant so it’s safe to say we have plenty of thoughts!
The Swan and Dolphin Resort at Disney World is incredibly popular, especially when it comes to the restaurant and festival offerings. The Swan and Dolphin have a combined 23 restaurants but there is ONE standout that we can’t stop raving about.
There are dozens upon dozens of Disney World restaurants on property. Some are wildly popular and require reservations right at 7 AM 60 days in advance, while for others you can grab reservations for the day of your trip.
We make it our mission to be well-informed about all the different dining spots in Disney World so we can keep you updated on the best spots to spend your time at while you’re on vacation. This time, our trip took us over to the Dolphin Hotel, which is located on Disney World property but is actually owned by Marriott. We stopped by The Fountain to check out their offerings and see if it’s worth taking time out of your Disney day to head over!
A recent menu change has struck one of our favorite dishes at a fan-favorite Disney World restaurant and you know we had to scope it out.

Our meal at California Grill
There’s a short list of Disney World restaurants that just don’t seem to let us down, no matter how much Disney plays with their menus. Sometimes, these changes are for the better, and sometimes they still can’t quite measure up to some of the surrounding restaurants, but very rarely do we find a change that doesn’t feel much like a change. When we heard that one of our beloved dishes at California Grill had changed, we knew we had to investigate — stat!
Let’s talk about the unsung hero of Disney World dining: the bread.
Sure, we all know about Mickey pretzels, churros, and DOLE Whip, but what if I told you that some of the best bites in Disney World are the bread baskets at their sit-down restaurants? From decadent rolls to adventurous bread services, Disney has really turned the humble bread into a true art form. Get ready, because we’re diving into some of the best bread offerings across Disney World, and trust me, you’ll want to add these to your dining wish list.
Not all that glitters is gold, especially when it comes to expensive dining at Disney World.
We have our list of favorite restaurants and we often revisit these places to see if the quality holds up. Disney World restaurants change all the time, and sometimes that means a dip in quality. Unfortunately, this might be the case at one such restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios — and that’s extra disappointing given its price tag.
When you visit the most popular theme park destination in the world, it’s not totally unfeasible that you might run into a celebrity.
Celebrity sightings are nothing new at Disney World. However, celebrity chef sightings can be a bit more hit or miss. With that said, your odds are still decent at Disney World, considering the resort is home to TONS of celebrity chef restaurants and other fine-dining experiences. If your goal is to see a celebrity chef, we recommend checking out some Disney World spots during future visits!
When it comes to Disney World, the magic extends far beyond the rides and parades. It’s a foodie paradise too!

Come with us to a popular Disney World hotel for our latest restaurant review!
It’s true that Disney World is always changing, which means we have to stay on our toes to bring you reviews of the resort’s newest restaurants. However, that doesn’t mean we neglect older establishments. In fact, we make a concentrated effort to revisit restaurants we’ve previously reviewed just to see if they’re maintaining standards or improving quality. Additionally, menus change all the time so we make sure to stay up-to-date with each restaurant’s offerings. For this review, we’re revisiting a hotel bar and lounge!
