‘Tis the season to start PLANNING!
Now that the Halloween season is behind us, it’s time to shift gears into the most wonderful time of the year — the Holidays!
Halloween may have just ended, and it’s very much still the middle of fall, but that isn’t stopping Disney from already celebrating the holidays!
Disney World doesn’t mess around when it comes to the holiday season, with some decorations going up literal weeks before Halloween this year. There has also been new holiday merchandise spotted in the parks, the first Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours event is coming up soon, and we know about all the special holiday food coming to Disney this holiday season. Today, we spotted another reason to get excited for the season!
Star Wars pickles, limited time cocktails, and plenty of treats? Yup, it’s Halloween in Disney World, folks!
As we’re exploring the parks today, we’re thrilled to sip on a Pumpkin Spice Latte and snack on themed goodies to celebrate. But, we aren’t the only ones who are visiting Disney World today, ready to have a blast! So, we’re giving you a look at the crowds we saw for Halloween!
The Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic, which runs on October 29th and 30th, is an event that coincides with EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival and features 20+ food stands and 100+ drink options.

In the past, we’ve really enjoyed this event and we think it’s pretty underrated and definitely worth the price of admission and we loved the Food & Wine Classic: A Taste of Swan & Dolphin event from earlier this year. Today, we’re giving you our full review of this year’s event!
Headed to Disney World soon? Well, we’re comin’ in hot with some updates!

Disney’s Riviera Resort
We’ve spent the last week checking in on the latest all over Disney World and that includes the Disney World Resort hotels! Now, we’re bringing you EVERYTHING new in food, construction, and merchandise from the resorts!
Hello, DFB Friends!

We had dynamite for breakfast
We’re in that rare time of the year when Halloween is fading away and Christmas is taking over everything. We’ve already seen holiday decorations at Disney World, and we’ve even learned about some of the holiday snacks we can expect this year. But restaurant menus are also continuing to change at the resort, so we’re monitoring all that, too!
Heading to Disney World soon?
You’ll want to make sure you’re prepared for any of the closures that are happening inside the parks or resorts. Whether for construction, updates, or other changes, Disney World will occasionally close different attractions and other things around the parks. We’re looking around at all the refurbishments going on to see what rides and hotels will NOT be available in November. [Read more…]
One key part of a Disney trip is air travel!

Orlando International Airport
Usually, finding a flight to Orlando is fairly doable, but recently, widespread flight cancellations and shortages have made air travel a challenge. Today, we’ve got an update about the recent American Airlines flight shortage.
We’re back for our weekly roundup of construction updates from Disney World!
There’s almost always some sort of construction going on when you’re visiting the parks and resorts. And, while some of the projects have a quick turnaround, others are going on for months or even YEARS (we’re looking at you TRON 👀). But, no matter what it is, we’ve got our eyes on it and this week we’re bringing you a look at work on TWO new roller coasters, one disappearing attraction, and more. Let’s get to it!
Another month has come and gone in Disney World! Can you believe we’re only two months away from 2022? Seriously…where has 2021 gone?! Before we can dive headfirst into the holiday season (we’ve already made our holiday season treats list and checked it twice!), we have to revisit our top and bottom picks for the food and drink items we tried in the month of October!
This month, to no one’s surprise, is chock-full of treats from the 50th Anniversary Celebration. Let’s revisit the menu items we would gladly try again and again, as well as those items we would rather not remember.
