Animal Kingdom
We spent the day in Disney’s Animal Kingdom yesterday doing our best to hunt down all of the latest news! Without further ado, here are all the updates in food, construction, and merchandise!
The installation of EPCOT’s new Leave a Legacy panels continues!
EPCOT
Guests used to be able to take a picture that would be displayed on one of the Leave a Legacy monoliths. Tens of thousands of people participated before Leave a Legacy was temporarily removed from the park entrance as part of EPCOT’s reimagining. But now, the panels are being reinstalled at a new location just outside the park.
Following the big Super Bowl win, Tampa Bay Buccaneer player, Rob Gronkowski announced that he’d be heading to Disney World!

And, even though Disney didn’t hold the Super Bowl Parade at the Magic Kingdom, they’ve still been celebrating! After the win, Disney lit up Cinderella Castle with the team colors and they still brought the star players to Disney World! So, what exactly does a pro football player do on their vacation?
Hop aboard Disney’s Skyliner and you can easily make your way to EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and several of Disney’s hotels, including Disney’s Pop Century Resort and more!
Disney’s Skyliner over Hourglass Lake
Well, recently we made our way onto the Skyliner to visit 3 of the hotels and see what’s new! We’ve got new snacks, a new drink, some cool merchandise, construction updates, and more. So, hop aboard your virtual skyliner and take a trip with us around these spots for all the details.
Update: The Liberty Square Riverboat is up and running again, just a few hours later!
Less than a week after reopening, the Liberty Square Riverboat is temporarily closed once more.
Liberty Belle
After being unavailable for months as the Rivers of America area was drained and refurbished, we were excited to see the Liberty Belle back on the water. But after being open for only 5 days, the Riverboat is closed again.

We have been taking in ALL of the scenes at the new expansion in the France Pavilion at EPCOT! Day or night, this new area is a beauty.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Area in the France Pavilion
We’re convinced that if we stay there long enough Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is bound to open at some point — right?! Though we don’t have an opening date for the new ride quite yet, we spotted TONS of new merchandise themed after the upcoming ride earlier this year. And people went nuts over it — including us! And now, we have great news for anyone looking for a new world traveling buddy in the form of a talking mouse.
We’re always giving you tips to have the best Disney World vacation ever, but the truth is there are times when you should definitely start to panic because things are going downhill fast.
