The closure of a popular World Showcase pavilion, being banished from the newest rides, and fixing snacks that weren’t broken in the first place.

Spaceship Earth
Not every Disney change is a good one — and we’re gonna talk about the WORST Disney World changes today, here on DFB Guide.
Disney has announced over $5 BILLION in budget cuts company-wide.
Things are definitely gonna be changing, but how will those cuts alter the theme parks and the Disney movies we know and love?
Last year Disney movie fans were treated to tons of sneak peeks at the D23 Expo!
We saw all kinds of exciting updates, like a new trailer for the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, confirmation of Inside Out 2, and brand-new movie announcements! While D23 was nearly half a year ago, the trailers haven’t stopped! Disney just released an all-new trailer for the upcoming Haunted Mansion film, inspired by the iconic attraction.
The EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is underway, and we’ve already visited ALL the food booths, but there’s STILL so much more to see, do, and even eat!

2023 La Isla Fresca Booth
We’ve admired the topiaries, bought some merchandise, and checked out some entertainment, but more importantly, we’ve visited ALL the food booths. But the La Isla Fresca booth actually has TWO menus — one for lunch and dinner, and one for breakfast. We’ve already tried out the regular menu, but now we’re back for breakfast!
Disney World is home to ICONIC snacks — we’re talking about those snacks that are quintessentially DISNEY.
Nothing says Disney MORE than snacks like the Dole Whip, Totchos, Corn Dog Nuggets, and ‘Ohana Bread Pudding. But there’s another snack that could be the most popular of ALL Disney World snacks and that’s the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls.
In case you haven’t already heard the news…
…Typhoon Lagoon is REOPENING on March 19th, 2023! This Disney World water park was closed for the winter season while Blizzard Beach was open for guests to enjoy fun in the sun…and “snow.” With the reopening of this water park comes the return of popular rides and attractions, H2O Glow After Hours, and NEW food!
The Orlando International Airport (MCO) has received lots of feedback (both positive and negative) on the newly constructed Terminal C — the largest terminal in the Orlando Airport that stretches over half a mile and is filled with state-of-the-art security, delicious dining, and architecture inspired by the sky itself.
According to the Orlando Airport’s website, MCO is already preparing to take Terminal C to new heights. MCO was recently awarded $69 million in federal funds for two Terminal C expansion projects. The Federal Aviation Administration awarded nearly $1 billion to airports across the country for projects that improve the passenger experience. MCO was one of approximately 100 airports in the country to receive funding.
Sure, we may talk about EPCOT festival foods…a lot.
But, those delicious eats and drinks are not the only reasons you should visit the Flower & Garden Festival. There are gorgeous topiaries, a ton of unique souvenirs, and some stellar entertainment! One of our favorite parts of the festival is the Beacons of Magic show that’s brilliantly displayed on Spaceship Earth — come check it out with us!
