It’s the HOLIDAYS in Disney World now, folks, and there are a lot of ways you can celebrate!
Between the food, decorations, gingerbread displays, and more, it’s understandable that people want to flock to the parks to check everything out. Also, the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party since 2019 is next week, so you KNOW it’s gonna be popular (and it’s sold out!). So, if you’re heading to the parks next week, we’ve got your look at the hours and park pass reservation availability for the week — let’s go!
As we get closer and closer to Halloween, Disney World is getting more and more busy!
And, it’s totally understandable, because there are a lot of things to do! You can take a look at all of the holiday decor, eat spooky treats, attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and more. But, if you’re going to the parks soon, it’s necessary to take a look at the calendar before you go. And, don’t forget that you still need a Park Pass Reservation to get into the parks — so we’ve compiled that info right here just for you!
Can anyone else believe how fast August flew by or is it just us?
August brought us tons of exciting new things, like the return of the Halloween season (including the oh-so-delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks). We’re also starting to see a dip in the crowd levels at the Disney World parks, so let’s take a look at how that affects the park hours and Park Pass Reservation availability for next week, September 4th to September 10th!
There’s rarely a dull week in Disney World!
This week was full of surprises, with updates on the Splash Mountain Princess and the Frog re-theme, opening dates, and tons of EPCOT Food & Wine Festival news! But there’s one REALLY important thing to do before getting to Disney World, especially with a big holiday coming up next week. Let’s check the calendars!
If you haven’t been watching for Disney news lately, you’ve got a LOT to catch up on!
HUGE EPCOT Food & Wine Festival news dropped this week, along with some massive updates on the airport train to Disney World, and a bunch of other things. Are you somewhere comfy? Are you ready to dive into all the latest and greatest Disney news? Good! Then let’s begin!
It’s hard keeping up with everything happening in Disney World!
We just got a ton of new holiday announcements, including these unique Pixar ears, new rooms opened at the Grand Floridian Resort, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue reopened at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, and there’s a new menu in EPCOT’s France pavilion! Things are constantly changing in Disney World, so let’s go over everything you need to know if you’re going to the parks next week!
Disney World Annual Passholders are some of the most dedicated theme park fans out there!
These fans (which also includes some of us here at DFB!) are willing to shell out hundreds or thousands each year to visit the magic, and they’re often the ones who show up for big restaurant and ride openings, merchandise drops, and special events. But recently, former Annual Passholders and wannabe Passholders have been facing a big issue — most passes aren’t on sale currently!
One of the most popular add-ons to a Disney World vacation is PhotoPass. This one-time purchase of $169 via Memory Maker (prior to arrival, or $199 in the parks after you arrive) gives you access to all of the digital downloads of pictures taken of you and the family while in Disney World, whether it’s an on-ride photo or a picture taken by one of Disney’s PhotoPass Cast Members.
There are some big changes coming with PhotoPass, however. Keep in mind that PhotoPass is NOT included with the new Genie+ service (instead, users get special augmented reality lenses to use while snapping pictures on your phone), nor does it come with Disney World’s new Annual Pass system — Annual Passholders who want PhotoPass on their next vacation, will have to purchase it separately for $99 per year, per pass.
Disney World just keeps getting more and more expensive.
Price increases are a pretty common occurrence in Disney World. We see them across the resort pretty much every year, oftentimes popping up in response to rising demand. Now, it seems like a Disney trip is more pricy with fewer perks. So, here’s why you’ll pay more to get less in Disney World.
