For much of this year, Disney World was closed due to the global health crisis. While we were happy to know that Disney is looking out for everyone’s safety, this news put quite a damper on several families’ vacation plans.

With the parks closed until at least the end of March in response to the coronavirus outbreak, Disney World has scaled back the transportation options available to guests.
Epcot
The Disney World parks will be closed from the end of the day on Sunday, March 15th through at least the end of the month. While Disney Springs and Disney Resort Hotels are scheduled to remain open at press time, it appears there will likely be reduced transportation options available. PLEASE NOTE: This post has been updated with NEW information regarding Walt Disney World transportation as of March 16, 2020.

Disney Skyliner has been a super-convenient way to zip around between several of the Disney World parks and resorts since it debuted last year!

That is — if it doesn’t break down while you’re on it!
The Disney Skyliner is a new mode of transportation offered to help guests get around Walt Disney World resort. If you’re staying at one of the four Disney resorts on the Skyliner, you can now get to Hollywood Studios or Epcot in a matter of minutes by hopping on the gondola line.

While up until this point, the other options for free transportation at Disney World have stayed the same for the resorts on the Skyliner line, it looks like that has now changed!
