This week brought some HUGE changes to Disney World.
Disney Genie
First, we saw price increases on everything from Minnie Ears to water to food. Then, we learned that Genie+ would begin using flexible pricing, with a max of $22 per day on busier days. Well, as of today, we’ve officially reached that max price for the service.

That being said, there really are certain iconic, bucket list-worthy attractions and restaurants and snacks that FULLY exemplify that CLASSIC Disney experience, and you’d be missing out if you skipped ‘em!

Since most queues reach their peaks later in the morning or afternoon, these are the types of rides that you should be visiting FIRST thing in the morning!
Like the waves at Typhoon Lagoon, crowds at Disney World tend to ebb and flow throughout the year. Some days, weeks, and seasons are just MUCH busier than others! Some of those busy times are very predictable — like Spring Break or the holiday season — but you’ve also got to take unofficial Disney World holidays into account, like runDisney weekends or Dapper Days.

If you’ve visited Pandora in Animal Kingdom or seen the movie Avatar, you might already know what a Banshee is. Basically, it’s a dragon-like creature that Avatar characters ride, and you get a chance to ride one yourself on the ride Flight of Passage. You can also “adopt” (aka purchase) your very own Banshee toy — and we have a bit of an update!
