Welcome to our latest roundup of What’s New in Epcot!
We have a LOT to cover today, including tons of merchandise and new Food and Wine Festival booths!
Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival
kicks off on August 29, 2019, and continues until November 23, 2019. That’s 87 days of food, wine, demos, seminars, and more! With the Festival getting bigger and more complex with each passing year, we figure it’s time to get back to the simple truths — seven, in fact — about Food & Wine.
Food & Wine at Epcot has reached epic proportions, with more than thirty booths in 2017 and 2018 — and over 30 again in 2019! [Read more…]
From Dole Whips and Mickey Pretzels to Peter Pan Floats, Disney World is home to some iconic and delicious snacks. BUT, not all snacks are created equally (or with equal price tags)!

If you’ve got the Disney Dining Plan for your upcoming trip to Disney World, you’ll absolutely want to get the biggest and best value for your snack credits in order to make your Dining Plan worth it.
It’s nearly time for the start of Disney California Adventure’s Food & Wine Festival in Disneyland Resort! We’re going to be on the ground tasting all the things — and we’ve got the info you need to make the most of this Festival, too!
DCA Food & Wine begins March 1 and goes through April 23

Happy Birthday, Disney California Adventure!
Disneyland Resort’s second park opened on February 8, 2001, so DCA is 18 years young today!
After a rocky start, I think DCA has really come into its own. With the addition of Pixar Pier, Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout, and now Marvel Land coming to the park, there’s so much to enjoy and to anticipate!
But today we wanted to celebrate this enterprising little park by sharing some of our favorite treats — old and new — to get at the snack locations and shops around DCA! Let us know which is YOUR favorite!
It’s not a visit to Disneyland Resort without stopping for a corn dog, and one of our favorite spots is Corn Dog Castle! Here you can get a traditional hand-dipped corn dog, but you can also order the Hot Link Corn Dog and the Cheese Stick Corn Dog. See our review here! The Hot Link is a spicy dog coated in classic corn batter. It’s delicious and packs a bit of a punch!
The Cheese Stick Corn Dog is exactly what you think: a stick of cheddar cheese that has been battered and deep fried. [Read more…]
It’s nearly time to celebrate the Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park! The celebration of the Lunar New Year begins on January 25, 2019, and the food booths are out with menus and prices!
This year’s booths are a bit different from past years when each was dedicated to a particular country’s cuisine. Instead, this year’s booths (called Lunar New Year Marketplaces) are inspired by the spirit of the festival. Red Dragon Spice Traders will offer Firecracker Three Cup Chicken, Steamed Short Rib Shumai, and a Purple Yam Macaron.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS from Epcot, where the 2018 Festival of the Holidays has officially started today!!

The 2018 Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic will take place on Friday, October 26, and Saturday, October 27, 2018.
And this event — which will mark its 9th anniversary this year — is one of my absolute annual favorites!
This two-night fall event coincides with the 2018 Epcot Food and Wine Festival and includes The Causeway (which features more than 90 food and beverage stations with dishes from the resort’s 17 restaurants and lounges as well as more than 30 wineries) and four special food areas — Carnival Corner, Beer Garden, Chinatown, and NEW for 2018, The Pig & Poke — along with Educational Seminars.
And this week, we attended a Preview Event to see what’s in store, and let you know what you’ve just GOT to eat on the Causeway this year at the Classic!
First up, from Cib’s Smokehouse is roasted and smoked Iberico pork, fennel puree, honey caramelized apple, and buttered turnip.
We’ve got exciting news for anyone planning to visit Epcot during the Holiday Season this year! We’ve got information on more celebrity narrators for the Candlelight Processional, some scoop on new items coming to the Holiday Kitchens (aka Food Booths!), and more festive fun… and it’s all part of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays!
The event runs this year from November 18th – December 30th, with the Candlelight Processional kicking off on November 22nd — Thanksgiving Day! So, why don’t we start there?
Dates have been filled in with more celebrity narrators for the nightly Candlelight Processional! The Candlelight Processional presents a retelling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator. The reading is accompanied by a robed choir and a full orchestra performing Christmas carols. [Read more…]
