We’re BACK at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We’re on a mission to see what all is new since our last visit to the park. And we a bunch of new merch, plus we also have some food and attractions updates to share!
There is TONS of divine Disney jewelry, but we think Pandora has some of the prettiest parks merch around.
And just in case your bracelet wasn’t getting heavy enough, we spotted ANOTHER new charm at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today that is just too precious!
When you go to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, getting a boarding pass for Rise of the Resistance can be a bit of a challenge. But when you DO get one, all that panic refreshing at 10AM or 2PM feels soooo worth it.
This massive Star Wars ride, however, is quite technologically advanced, which means that it breaks down and experiences little glitches from time to time.
We’re back at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to check out all the updated rides, merchandise, and dining!
Hollywood Studios has gotten creative with the way they are handling character entertainment since reopening! To keep their distance, characters have been riding around the park in specially themed cars. Today, the Disney Junior Play & Dance Party show at Hollywood Studios reopened, but it looks a little different. [Read more…]
Who’s our favorite fork to find featured on our Disney merch?
Well, that’s pretty easy — it’s Toy Story’s Forky! We love spotting new Forky merchandise, from the awesome Forky Loungefly Backpack we saw online, to the WILD Forky Hairbrush we found in Disney World. Well, that Forky Loungefly, unfortunately, sold out online, but fortunately we spotted it for sale in Hollywood Studios today!
Some of our favorite iconic snacks went missing once Walt Disney World reopened to the public. We were reunited with a classic snack today!
We have a long and tumultuous history with the Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel from Disney World. It appeared years ago at The Lunching Pad in Magic Kingdom then took a hiatus sometime later. We thought it was potentially gone forever. There was a big pretzel-shaped hole in our hearts. Then, it came crawling back to us at Magic Kingdom, only to break our hearts once more. The Lunching Pad is temporarily unavailable so we haven’t had a chance to get our pretzel fix! WELL, it seems the delicious snack is back to toy with our hearts again! [Read more…]
When it comes to conquering Disney World and making the most of your day in the parks, many guests would traditionally take advantage of “rope drop.” Not familiar? Each park previously would handle rope drop a bit differently, but basically it is the process of first opening the parks each day to guests or, for guests, the process of getting there EARLY to be one of the first people in the park.
The name is based on a literal rope being draped across the front of land entrances before they opened for the day. Sometimes Cast Members would stretch a rope in front of the park opening crowd and walk them back to the most popular ride, reduing the ability of guests to run to the most popular attraction, which is obviously dangerous for other guests and Cast Members.
But now, in a reopened Disney World, is rope drop still even a thing? Is it still worth it to wake up SUPER early and be among the first guests to enter the parks each day? Let’s take a look at what our experience has been like since the parks reopened and share our thoughts!
We’re basically craving Disney snacks and treats all the time (even after we’ve had a bunch of them back in a newly re-opened Disney World)!
Although we’ve been back in the parks, we also have been excited to try our hand at some of our favorite Disney dishes in our own kitchens!
Now that Hollywood Studios is back open, we can go on our favorite rides again all over the parks (and hop on a wild ride on Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway)!
Even though we’re happy to deal with Goofy’s unconventional train conducting and some of the attraction’s twists and turns, LOTS of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway merchandise has drawn our eyes this week.
Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Hollywood Studios!
And, we’re here to share SO MUCH merchandise that’s made its way into the park, so let’s dive right on in!
