Okay, so we know a lot of y’all are planning trips to Universal Orlando to see Epic Universe — and we don’t blame you.

Universal has KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK (pun intended) with its new theme park, and we’ve enjoyed visiting it multiple times to check out all five lands, including all the rides, entertainment, and (OF COURSE) dining spots. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we’ve been talking nonstop about Epic Universe, and we’re not going to stop anytime soon (#sorrynotsorry). It’s not every day a brand-new theme park comes along in Florida!

We can’t help it. Epic Universe is…well…EPIC. And there’s so much to talk about. Not only did this new theme park bring five NEW lands to Universal Orlando, but it also brought new food and new restaurants — which you KNOW we get excited about. Plus, if you stay at a Universal Orlando hotel, you get a SWEET perk: you can get into Epic Universe (and other Universal Orlando parks) an hour earlier than everyone else. Well, that early admission perk just got a DARK update.

Disney World Announces ANOTHER Hotel Refurbishment

A lot is happening in Disney World. Three of Disney World’s four parks are getting new lands and expansions. A new nighttime parade is headed to Magic Kingdom soon. Several rides are getting refurbishments. Two new shows recently debuted at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Disney World hotels are getting some updates, as well. Disney’s Beach Club Resort has been busy with some construction to its pool area (that it shares with Disney’s Yacht Club Resort), but Disney recently announced that even more work will be done to the hotel’s exterior.

NEW Hidden “Junk Fees” Ban Now in Effect — How It Could CHANGE Your Disney World Vacation

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) passed a “Rule on Unfair or Deceptive Fees” which took effect on May 12th, 2025. This new rule helps to protect consumers from “junk fees” when they purchase live-event tickets or short-term lodging.

If you have ever gone online to buy concert tickets or a room at a hotel, you have likely encountered these “junk fees.” They are fees that sometimes seemingly appear out of nowhere and get added on as you are checking out. Thanks to these junk fees, the $100 hotel room you initially saw now costs you well over $150. However, this new rule wants to help put more transparency into pricing and require businesses to disclose the total price ahead of time.
