We were just about to leave Disney Springs this afternoon when something caught our eye!

And while it might not be as fancy as other modes of transportation such as the monorail or Disney’s Skyliner gondolas (which we’ve also seen out-and-about recently!) it gets the job of gettin’ around at Disney World just as well!
At the start of the parks’ temporary closure, all of Disney’s Skyliner gondolas were put away for safekeeping.

And while we just saw the carousel at Disney Springs’ marketplace spinning along with Cinderella Castle receiving her royal makeover, you won’t believe what else we just saw!
UPDATE (5/22) 8:45 PM CT: According to the Orlando Sentinel, the governor’s office clarified that “the only major theme park to receive approval to reopen on Friday was Universal Studios in Orlando.” Legoland had already sent out a news release of the park’s reopening, but a reporter followed up to clarify that the decision had not yet been approved. We will keep you updated when the governor officially approves Legoland’s reopening.
While yesterday we informed you Legoland Florida had received initial approval to reopen June 1st, Governor Ron DeSantis has now given the Winter Haven City-based theme park the green light.

Legoland has officially announced it will be reopening its Central Florida location in just over a week.
Florida’s task force is has convened once again to discuss more measures for re-opening the state’s commerce.

And while yesterday’s speakers announced new regulations and protocols regarding Florida’s transportation industry including airlines and cruise ships, today’s emphasis was placed on tackling new guidelines for small businesses and large public gatherings.
