Disney World wait times have been trending down over the past few weeks (after a VERY busy time period) but did Halloween affect those times at all? We were very surprised by the Halloween crowds but what are the average wait times as we head into November?

We’ve seen some HIGH wait times this month but we’ve also seen some wait times going down. As we head into the holiday (and usually busier) season in Disney World, we’re taking a look at the wait times during the last week of October!

Many people visit Disney World in October to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or eat at EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival, or maybe you just want to take advantage of the slightly cooler weather and see all the Halloween decorations. We’re fully into spooky season now, and Disney has been putting on all the celebrations!

You can go to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, eat all of those pumpkin snacks, grab some fun merch, or even take some pics in front of those awesome pumpkins. We got up bright and early today to sing Happy Birthday to EPCOT, which just turned 40 years old!

When we arrived at EPCOT to celebrate properly, we got a special map, dived into some special snacks, and checked out all the fun 40th anniversary merchandise. Speaking of which, we had to wait to see that merchandise because the line was super LONG.
This week was not a normal one in Disney World.
Test Track
Hurricane Ian made its way through the state of Florida, causing the Disney World parks to close on Wednesday and Thursday. The parks did a phased reopening on Friday, where we did see a decent amount of people. So, what are crowds like during the week of a hurricane in Disney World? During Disney’s D23 Expo, it was revealed that an expansion was being considered for Magic Kingdom, and that DinoLand U.S.A. could be replaced. None of it’s official yet, but the ideas are pretty interesting. Would these new areas make the parks way more crowded? Would lines get longer?
