Popcorn, Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars, and yes, even turkey legs are a significant part of the Disney snack scene. But one of the standout sweets is a Disney churro, and soon, the parks (especially at Disneyland Resort) are celebrating National Churro Day with some new additions!

Minnie’s Summertime Dine started at Hollywood & Vine this week in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. New menu items are set to arrive at Disney World restaurants soon to usher in the seasonal change. There’s even a new summer Disney World ticket deal available for booking. We’re also seeing some changes on Disney World restaurant menus, so let’s look at what’s happening.

Plant Based Sausage
For starters, in October 2019, Disney announced that every major table and counter service restaurant in both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort would offer plant-based options! You will find menus with plant-based options that are available throughout Walt Disney World, these items “are made with no animal meat, dairy, eggs or honey. They are made with ingredients that come from plants, including grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds and legumes.”
Walt Disney World vacations can be exhausting due to early mornings, late nights, and lots of walking! To keep your energy up, you may need to refuel with coffee on your trip, and you have quite a few different options!
Creature Comforts
Coffee and Disney go together like Donald and Daisy, and over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you’ll find plenty of choices no matter what kind of coffee fix you’re after. Of course, there’s the obvious Creature Comforts (the Animal Kingdom Starbucks location), but those lines can be long, and you might be looking for something a little different.

Is there really anything better than stuffing the delicious carby treat in your mouth after you’ve slathered it in butter or jam? (Even better if it’s hot out the oven!) Thankfully, Disney World really gets us. We’re convinced Disney restaurants have made it their personal mission to outdo each other with their bread offerings, and we’re certainly not complaining. But after trying dozens (maybe even hundreds) of breads around Disney World, we’re here to tell you which ones are the BEST!

Not only did we get to celebrate Earth Day, but we also got to celebrate Animal Kingdom’s 25th anniversary! We ate a lot of special anniversary and Earth Day snacks and got to meet some super rare characters. While we were doing all that, Disney World restaurants were busy changing up their menus, so we’re going to take a look at all the updates.
