Hi there, DFB friends! We’re back with more of what’s new at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
There’s some food and construction news as well as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance news, so let’s get into it!
Hello from Disney World, where things are starting to get extra spooky!

Welcome to Hollywood Studios!
And no, we’re not talking about Tower of Terror, which is spooky year-round — it’s Halloween season, which means we’re trying some fun spooky snacks and drinks all over Disney World, and enjoying the decorations at Magic Kingdom. But today, we’re at Disney’s Hollywood Studios checking out everything new. On with the updates!
We love Disney World rides! YOU love Disney World rides! But let’s face it: not EVERY ride is for everybody. And if there’s one place that makes this fact abundantly clear, it’s Yelp.
Whether it’s an emphatic rave review or a hilarious takedown, Yelpers don’t hold back when it comes to discussing their favorite — or LEAST favorite — attractions at Disney World. Let’s take a look at some of the FUNNIEST Yelp reviews we found for Disney World rides!
If there’s anything Disney World guests are good at it, it’s standing in line. 😂

Line for Space Mountain
Let’s face it — you have to stand in line for everything at Disney World: for transportation, for rides, for food, for shopping, and for pretty much everything else. But not every line is created equal…
As Disney World continues to open up and increase capacity, the wait times have gotten longer and longer. Higher capacity and Genie+ means that there’s a ton of people going for those standby lines.
However, there’s an alternative for some attractions — going on a ride as a single rider! But it begs the question: is the single rider line really worth it?
Have you ever been on a Disney World attraction and hear a familiar voice or see a familiar face that you just KNOW from somewhere?
Like maybe it was at Magic Kingdom on Pirates of the Caribbean or maybe you were at EPCOT watching Canada Far and Wide. Or maybe some of those characters on the Dinosaur video at Disney’s Animal Kingdom look familiar.
Summer is officially here, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has begun, fireworks are back, and more changes are on the way soon for Disney World.
As you might expect, summer vacation and special events like the start of a festival can draw in more crowds. What did the average wait times in Disney World look like this past week? Today we’re taking a look and sharing all the details with you.
As things slowly, but surely have started to return to normal in Disney World, attractions have started to drift back to the way they used to be prior to the closures. And, that means pre-shows are being reinstated after being closed as a previous health and safety measure.
We’ve been able to see the opening scenes again at spots like the Haunted Mansion, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Tower of Terror, and Dinosaur, among others. Now another pre-show is back and we had to give you all the details!
When visiting Disney World, one thing you definitely want to be aware of is wait times!
We’re constantly on the My Disney Experience app to check the stand-by wait times for rides (we need to know the SECOND Splash Mountain drops under 30 minutes!), especially because there still aren’t any Fast Passes in Disney World! There are attractions that almost always have really long waits, like Flight of Passage and Slinky Dog Dash, and those that you can usually walk on, like the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. Let’s take a look at all the average wait times around Disney World this week!
