Sometimes we expect a totally empty park and are met with intense crowds, and other times it’s the opposite. Even though crowds can be unpredictable, so it’s good to prepare for the worst — and if you’re heading to Disney World this weekend, you might want to do just that.

So when we get the chance to check out some exclusive merchandise coming to the parks, well, we jump at it! The 2024 runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is taking place later this month, and we’ve just got our first look at the exclusive souvenirs coming along with it!

Hollywood Studios Crowds
The past two weeks, we’ve warned you about crowds hitting Disney World due to dance and cheer competitions happening at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. We’re sorry to say that you need to expect more crowds in Disney World this weekend for a DIFFERENT reason.

Of course, you are. We know many of you train all through the year to participate in Disney’s many runDisney events. Now that runDisney events have returned to Disneyland, you might even be gearing up for Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend on September 8th, which could be one of the most fun events of the year, especially if you love all things spooky. Well, registration for the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend is now open!

You could say there are “good, better, and best” times to visit the parks, and we always try to go during the best times. One of the biggest factors to look at when deciding when to go to a Disney park is the CROWDS. Big events and holidays tend to draw more crowds, so when those are happening, you can expect longer wait times at the rides and attractions. runDisney has just announced that the start time and race course has been altered for the half marathon planned for January 6th at Walt Disney World.

Severe thunderstorms are predicted to reach the Walt Disney World area shortly after 8 a.m. on Saturday, and last most of the morning.
A new year means new runDisney races are preparing to kick off in Disney World and Disneyland.
