Hollywood Studios was Disney World’s third park to open and has seen many changes since it first opened in 1989. Recent additions include Toy Story Land, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Soon, the park will see even more changes as tons of exciting projects are on the horizon.
We want you to experience as much as possible when you visit this park, so we are sharing our 10 tricks to make your day at Hollywood Studios even better!
The Skyliner at Disney World can be one of the most reliable modes of transportation on the property, but that doesn’t mean it is without faults.

If you’re looking for a quieter experience, here are four times you might want to skip the Skyliner and use a different method to get home.

But don’t worry! That is why Disney World offers free transportation all around the property in the form of buses, monorails, the Skyliner, and watercraft! We go to Disney World every day, and we know how important it is to be efficient and make the most of your vacation days. We have tried every transportation hack, but these eight are our favorites.

While park hopping is often seen as a strategy to maximize your time and experience in the parks, sometimes it is not the hack you would think it is. While park hopping does give you the flexibility to visit multiple parks in one day, it sometimes can cause more stress to your park day.
While you might not think there could be bad days at Disney World, we have to admit we’ve had them and this one specifically left us feeling so frustrated.

However, there are some transportation mistakes we see happening over and over again that we know mess people up. Whether you’re using Disney World transportation or not, PLEASE be aware of these potential Disney World transportation mistakes and know how to avoid them!

All of this may sound overwhelming, and if you are worried about getting around the resort, Disney World provides free transportation for guests staying at their resorts as well as for those looking to park hop. While we have a few gripes with Disney World transportation (we are looking at you, TTC!), we are really starting to wonder when Disney World will fix the limited transportation options to Animal Kingdom as well as some of their resorts.
There are lots of great places we would recommend stopping at when you visit Disney World.

Obviously, the parks are a must; several restaurants and lounges have our hearts, and you’ll always catch us on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover (or just simply the PeopleMover). But these are all pretty normal places to go when you’re visiting Disney World. Instead, there is one strange place we think you should stop at every time you’re at Disney World.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort
You have to decide which type of hotel is best for you. While all three hotel tiers, Value, Moderate, and Deluxe, come with similar perks like Early Theme Park Entry, free transportation, and, starting in 2025, free water park entry on check-in day, you will need to find the hotel that fits your party’s needs the best. For example, if you are a fan of the resort refillable mugs, then there is one resort that reigns supreme if you are looking to get the best bang for your buck!
