Sometimes, you’re hit with bad weather. Sometimes, a bear invades Magic Kingdom (okay, well, it only happened ONCE…so far). Sometimes, your favorite ride is closed. That’s exactly what happened with TRON Lightcycle / Run. It was closed literally all day long, and sadly this does happen. So we thought we’d share tips on what to do if it happens to you.
Disney World has tons of different coasters throughout its parks.
Expedition Everest
Some of these coasters are traditional coasters like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Expedition Everest, some are dark rides like Space Mountain, and others are unlike anything we’ve ever seen, like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The most recent coaster addition to Disney World has even landed on a list of the best new coasters!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
There are quite a few rides and attractions to choose from at Disney World, and it feels like the number continues to grow! Thinking about that and since it’s the new year, we figured we could at what will be the most popular rides at Disney World in 2024!
Disney After Hours events are BACK! This time, we’re visiting Magic Kingdom AFTER dark and experiencing low wait times, complimentary snacks, and TWO TIMES the normally scheduled fireworks. Talk about an eventful night!
After Hours
During Magic Kingdom’s three-hour long After Hours event, we’re visiting TONS of attractions and meeting some characters along the way. But one of the things we’re SUPER excited about is Disney’s BIG change. During the After Hours event, you can ride TRON Lightcycle / Run WITHOUT a virtual queue or Lightning Lane (paid FastPass to skip the line). That’s right — we’re using the standby line at TRON for the FIRST TIME!

Now that park pass reservations have gone away for most guests, there are new rules to follow when it comes to Virtual Queues. We’ve gone over the changes in a few different posts, but now we’re putting words into action. Come with us to test the NEW virtual queue rules in Disney World.

So many changes recently hit Disney World, and it can be hard to keep up with what you need when planning a trip. Park passes are no longer needed for select ticket holders, park hopping has returned without restrictions, and the Disney dining plan is back. 2024 is bringing some serious changes to Disney World.
2024 will be an exciting time!
The best part? 2024 is only a few days away! While most of these changes won’t actually go into effect until January 9th, we’re excited nonetheless. One of the biggest changes taking place is the removal of park pass reservation requirements for most ticketed visitors. After the 9th, you’ll no longer need a park pass reservation to enter a park — with the exception of Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays. With that update comes another HUGE update hidden inside — and a lot of folks might not know about this yet.
