It feels like we constantly share release dates for new Disney projects!
Back in 2020, it was announced at Disney Investor’s Day that many new series would be coming soon. The first of those series is Baymax! which will be released ahead of the rest late this month. We’ve yet to hear release dates for the spin-offs of Moana and Princess and the Frog, but we’re excited to share that the Zootopia series now has an official release date!
When Disney World is already expensive, you might not have considered any of the optional upgrades you could buy.
You don’t HAVE to get any upgrades to have a great Disney World vacation but you might find the extra cost of some of them to be worth it. We asked DFB readers, “What Disney World upgrade do you think is totally worth it?”
Pixar’s new movie, Lightyear, is out now!
We’ve seen tons of Lightyear stuff pop up around the Disney Parks, like this hilarious ice cream cone in Disney Springs, glow-in-the-dark Minnie Ears, and a whole new character (kinda?) in Disneyland! The movie has already raked in a lot of money, and it was also recently revealed that NASA had a hand in how the movie was made! We knew we were going to see this Buzz Lightyear gauntlet in Disneyland soon, and it’s finally here!
Lightyear is officially in theaters, y’all!
The film has already scored BIG at the box office, and we even learned that Disney consulted with NASA on the movie (how’s that for realism?)! Disney’s giving away a free Lightyear Collectible Key online, and new Lightyear merchandise has arrived both online and in the parks. Now, though, Buzz is meeting with guests in Disneyland…but there’s something VERY different about him… .
There have been a LOT of new Disney merchandise collections in the past few months!
We got new merchandise for the 50th Anniversary, but we’ve also spotted collaborations with major brands, collections for new TV shows and movies, and even special holiday items. If you’re hoping to snag some of these popular Disney items but can’t make it to the parks, don’t worry — several new items arrived online this week!
Sometimes Disney World rides break down.
When they break down and people are on them, those people then need to be evacuated off of the ride, which can make for a really unique experience! We were in the Magic Kingdom one day when we decided to take a spin on a popular Tomorrowland ride, but then it stopped, and we were evacuated. Take a look at what it’s like to be evacuated off of the PeopleMover with us!
There’s just something special about the flavor combination of sweet and salty.
Maybe that’s why some of our favorite Disney World snacks combine those flavors: we loved the Monte Cristo at Plaza Restaurant, we adore ANYTHING with peanut butter and chocolate, and we even liked the Deviled Egg Ice Cream from Salt & Straw. So now we’re back with another sweet and salty treat and this one takes it OVER THE TOP.
Got a second? Need a little bit of a break from the “real” world? Wondering what’s been happening in the world of Disney this week? Welcome, friend, you’re in just the right spot.
This week we got some really big Disney news — from menu updates to Genie+ changes. So let’s not wait any longer! Here are 5 big Disney news updates you NEED to know about.
Pixar’s Lightyear is going to infinity — and BEYOND!
The movie is in theaters NOW, and you can get tickets right here. There is also a ton of fun merchandise available, like new Minnie ears, action figures, a collectible key, and more. But, is the movie drawing crowds? Well, if the box office numbers are any indication, results are mixed.
