There’s a 2319 Emergency Cupcake at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom today to celebrate 2-3-19! No idea what a 2319 Emergency is? (It’s OK — some of us had to google it, too!) In my favorite Disney movie, Monster’s Inc., you’ll remember the 2319 Emergency when an unfortunate monster was contaminated with a child’s white sock — a dreaded outcome for any scarer!!
Well the Magic Kingdom pastry chefs (Jenna Rose Petri, specifically) came up with an incredible idea to celebrate this one-time-only day!
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar
knows its way around a collectible mug. This vibrant spot at the Disneyland Hotel offers up funky drinking vessels regularly throughout the year, including super popular (like sold out in hours on release day popular!) options like the Holiday Elephant Mug, the Nautilus (in two forms!), and the Hatbox Ghost Tiki.
And now Trader Sam has introduced a brand new Shrunken Zombie Head mug! The head hunter is no stranger to zombie head mugs, truth be told, and these new ones — brought to us by our Insta-pal @batikDesign — really capture that un-dead spirit! [Read more…]

We have a lot to share with you this week, so let’s jump right in…
We’ve all been there: It’s a screaming hot day at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom, and our schedule for the day doesn’t get us out of the sun’s persistent rays for long stretches of time. We’re having a blast (of course!), but we’re about to melt. Enter: Shave Ice!
This sweet and icy treat has been a seasonal part of the Animal Kingdom food scene for a couple of years, and it can now be found in the area of Harambe Market (not to be mistaken for Harambe Fruit Market closer to Kilimanjaro Safari). It shows up every once in a while — it’s not guaranteed to be there on your visit — and when it does, it’s usually a hot day, making Shave Ice very welcome! [Read more…]
Salt & Straw in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney
has been capturing the imaginations and the taste buds of Disney guests on the west coast since the location opened in October 2018.
We have to say: it lives up to the hype! [Read more…]
If you’ve ever visited Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel, you might think this looks familiar…
That’s because it does 🙂 . But if you look closer, you’ll see that the updated signage is now in place for the renamed and soon-to-reopen Tangaroa Terrace, Tropical Bar & Grill!

“You can fly! You can fly! You can fly!” YES, now you can fly again in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, because Peter Pan’s Flight is now reopen! The beloved attraction has been closed for about a month for refurbishment.
But now it’s back up and running… I mean, flying! [Read more…]
in Disney World’s Polynesian Village Resort is now serving Krakatoa Punch in the newest edition of the Krakatoa souvenir glass.
