As we’ve previously seen before select Disney Springs dining locations and Disney World resort restaurants reopened, sweeping menu cuts are now occurring at several theme park restaurants.
Just recently, Disney has shared with us which Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom restaurants will be reopening on July 11th as well as which dining locations will be available when Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot resume on July 15th. Disney is offering limited menus at many of the resorts and Disney Springs restaurants for the time being. And, now it looks like the parks are following suit.
Here are a few of the biggest menu changes that you can anticipate to see when the parks reopen.
Disney World Theme Parks
Magic Kingdom
Tony’s Town Square Restaurant
First up, Town’s Town Square Restaurant — one of the very first restaurants we’ll see as soon as we step foot inside the Magic Kingdom for the first time since mid-March!
They’ve subtracted quite a few appetizers, entrées, and desserts from their menu!

Are you surprised by some of these menu changes? Let us know if one of your favorite menu items got axed in the comments below!
Linda says
Let me start by saying that I don’t frequent Disney as often as many. At first, I thought the list of menu items were what was being served at the restaurants you checked out. After rereading, I realized those items you listed were what was cut. Do you have a list somewhere as to what they are offering? I see you do have pictures of some of the menus, but a list of what is being served would be awesome. Thanks.
Mario says
Wait, the bold items are no longer on the menu for the time being? If so, what will be on the menus?
cc says
sounds like nothing left, all of these places will now not be worth it period!!!!
Dawn F. says
That’s a shame. Some of the food offerings are good healthy choices to eat. Unless I’m looking at it wrong and the food items listed are what they are offering? The Lobster Benedict have my mouth watering😩
NENolan says
I hope the Char Siu Pork and Shrimp and Grits return to Jungle Skipper and Tiffin, respectively or we’ll probably be skipping many of the Disney restaurants next trip and eating off property. We’ve got until later in the year so hopefully, menus will expand by then.
Heather Little says
Do we know why? COVID response to reduce park capacity, I get. But why reduce the menus?
Rose says
Welcome to the new Disney offering you less and less for more money.
DFB Sarah says
Heather, as far as I know, Disney hasn’t released word on why they’re limiting menus. If they do, we’ll share that info.
Hannah says
My though for why they are limiting things may be because they are expecting lower crowds and don’t want too many left overs. They don’t have to have too many different ingredients this way…just a guess. I’m not a fan. Although they took away a bunch of my favorites a couple years ago.
Kim says
I read that the reason they’ve limited the menu is supply-chain issues and social distancing in the kitchen, officially. But I’m sure they also don’t want to lose money on food they buy that doesn’t get used, due to lower guest count.
Karrie says
Noooo, not the Crema Elote soup at La Hacienda! Whaaaa!
