The present state of the world is a strange one. With people around the world stuck home in self-isolation or quarantine, there’s definitely a lot of uncertainty. After all, the current situation is pretty unprecedented in our modern world.

So you might be saying…why in the world would I plan a Disney trip right now?
Well, we can be relatively sure that the parks WILL reopen (though timeline is unclear at the moment), and we know that Disney is already releasing discounts for later in the year!
Also, with significant changes in the travel industry that could mean lower-risk booking…and an abundance of family time right now to fill with fun and positive projects…it may make a lot more sense that you think to start planning your next visit to the mouse. Let’s dig in!
It’s almost been a week since we last stepped foot in one of the Disney World parks (and we’ve been missing it EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.)!

And, we’re making our must-do list of things to do, see, and eat once the parks open up again (so you can come along with us, of course)!
With Disney Resorts everywhere closing to promote the safety of guests and cast members in light of the current global situation, Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa in Hawaii is following suit.

While the Hawaiian resort and spa updated its sanitation procedures and has allowed guests to switch their reservations without a change fee, Aulani is putting the safety of its guests, cast, and crew first during these difficult times.
Restaurants around the world have been shutting their doors to protect guests (oh, how we miss a nice dinner out of the house!).

And, while ALL the Disney Parks and even their shopping locations have closed as well, you might shed a few tears over this next closure.
