While Disneyland Resort still remains closed, Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park has been offering up limited shopping and dining since the Fall.
Today, while we were strolling through the shops, we spotted a NEW Beauty and The Beast Collection at the Kingswell Camera Shop that can totally be our guest! The new line features an array of kitchen and household items with iconic characters from the classic Disney animated film. We must say, it’s pretty cute to see these little guys doing their jobs like they would in the movie!
Disney California Adventure Park officially opened at Disneyland Resort on February 8th 2001, and it has definitely changed quite a bit over the years. This year, we’re celebrating 20 years of getting to enjoy this unique Disney theme park!

At the moment, Disney California Adventure Park is closed, but guests can still visit parts of it and even eat at some of the park’s restaurants since Downtown Disney has expanded onto part of Buena Vista Street. Carthay Circle at California Adventure
We were once again reunited with corn dogs from Award Wieners, and more! We even got to try the new Carthay Circle Lounge — Alfresco Dining experience. Bot too long after, dining was prohibited at Disneyland due to a stay-at-home order. But, the stay-at-home order has now been lifted and restaurants have started offer in-person dining again at Downtown Disney. And now Carthay Circle and 2 other Buena Vista spots have official reopening dates!
The gates might be closed at Disneyland, but there has still been some MAJOR developments in Downtown Disney and the parks themselves prior to their re-openings.
Now that California has lifted the ban on outdoor dining, numerous Downtown Disney restaurants have opened to guests once again. Like many people, we were pretty happy to say goodbye to 2020 and hello to 2021. It’s a brand new year!

New treats have arrived at Trolley Treats at Disney California Adventure and they are pink and red with hearts all over!
No need to make your way over to Walt Disney World to get in on the Valentine’s Day action. Today, we spotted chocolate, chocolate, and MORE chocolate in Disney California Adventure!
