Are you making plans for the holidays in Disney World?
Sure you are! The holidays in Disney World are EXTRA special, so it’s a great time to visit. Not only do you get to experience the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays (not to mention the celebrity narrators for the Candlelight Processional — Brendan Fraser, people!), but you also get to see all the gorgeous decorations, and even have an opportunity to attend an exclusive Christmas party at Magic Kingdom. Well, we have something that could save you a little money on that Christmas party — and more!
Many people write off Disney World food.
Even we’re culprits of park hopping occasionally over to EPCOT for lunch instead of eating at one of the spots in Hollywood Studios. It may be known for its glitz and glam of Hollywood and dropping you into the action of the movies, but it still has some great food locations. We recently visited Fairfax Fare on Sunset Boulevard to try a new snack and this is what we thought!
It’s time to settle the debate once and for all — what are REALLY the BEST quick service restaurants in Disney’s Hollywood Studios?

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
When you think about great food in Disney World, Hollywood Studios is rarely the park that comes to mind. Sorry, but it’s the truth. Sure, there are some iconic classics like the famous Cobb Salad at the Hollywood Brown Derby, and the comfort food at 50s Prime Time Café is certainly nothing to scoff at. But both of those are TABLE service spots…so what if you want something FAST? Don’t worry — there are still some excellent options! You just have to know where to look. [Read more…]

There is a lot of food to explore in Disney World, but don’t worry — we here at DFB are here to help you navigate it so you don’t feel overwhelmed.
Not only are there tons of restaurants to explore but there are countless snacks you can treat yourself to as well. If you’re headed over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios soon, you need to know about these new menu options at a fan-favorite table service restaurant!
There are classic Disney World snacks like your churros, Dole Whips, Mickey Premium Bars, and Mickey Pretzels, but every once in a while, a snack comes along that is an instant icon.
When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we knew that some out-of-this-world eats would come along with it, but little did we know just how popular — and controversial — the Ronto Wrap would become.
We’re heading to Hollywood…Studios that is!
This park opened in 1989 and has changed significantly since the beginning, with multiple new additions like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land in the past several years. It’s often known as the park with some of the most thrilling rides, but there are a few rides that the Disney World pros tend to SKIP on a visit to Hollywood Studios.
Another week in Disney World has passed, which means we’ve seen some changes at restaurants.
For starters, we discovered a new Frozen treat at EPCOT, and we got a hint about when Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa might finally reopen. We also got confirmation of what will be returning to this year’s EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. In the meantime, menus were also changing in Disney World, so let’s take a look at those.
A popular ride in EPCOT is going to be temporarily CLOSED this week!

EPCOT
Luckily that closure is only expected to last for a single day. However, there are currently a few other closures in Disney World that are lasting much longer than a day. Let’s check out all the temporary closures in Disney World for the week of October 8th through the 14th.
