December has been full of restaurant reopenings, menu changes, and a brand new cookie joint at Disney Springs!
And we’ve been covering it all to keep you updated. But if you’ve missed some announcements specifically about menu changes and updates, here are all the menu updates we’ve seen this past month!
EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays may be over, but we’re gearing up for the next big festival, which begins next week!
The Festival of the Arts starts on January 8th, and we’re pretty stoked to see the return of the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine as part of the celebration!

It’s a BIG day in Disney World. 2020 is officially over!
In the past, New Year’s Day has been one of the busiest (if not THE busiest) day of the whole year at Disney World. It’s pretty common to see the parks hit capacity on a normal year WITHOUT 2020 capacity limitations. Today…not so much. We’re checking out the CROWDS and WAIT TIMES on the first day of 2021!
The 2021 EPCOT Festival of the Arts kicks off ONE WEEK from today!

And the park is preparing for this annual celebration of the Culinary, Visual, and Performing Arts with a new park map boasting the Festival of the Arts logo on the cover! [Read more…]
With the New Year comes the return of park hopping at Disney World!
And even though this is a new park hopping process than it was before, we’re taking a look at park to park transportation! Today is the first day this transportation option is available since Disney World’s closure in March of 2020, so we couldn’t wait to see what changed (or didn’t) with the new park hopping system!
You might be on vacation during this holiday season, or just trying to squeeze in a few extra naps to catch up on some much-needed rest, but Disney news never takes a break!

We’re HOPPIN’ into the New Year, my friends…because Park Hopping returns to the Walt Disney World theme parks as of today!

Park Hopping is the option to visit more than one of the four Walt Disney World theme parks per day. The program was suspended upon the initial reopening of the Walt Disney World parks in the summer of 2020. But now, guests who have purchased valid park tickets that include Park Hopper benefits can start their day in, say, Magic Kingdom, then HOP to EPCOT (or Hollywood Studios! We’re kissing 2020 goodbye at Disney World today! It’s been a long year and we’re ready to move forward into 2021.
Disney World is celebrating New Year’s Eve a little differently this year. The theme parks are closing before midnight for health and safety reasons. Guests are encouraged to ring in the new year from their resort where Disney will host special activities tonight. We’re heading into the parks to see what the crowds, wait times, and the overall vibe is like.
