We absolutely LOVE Disney World’s character cavalcades, way more than we ever thought we would!

We’ve even enjoyed the Rainy Day Cavalcades, which usually involve characters riding on the Magic Kingdom double-decker buses rather than on floats.
We’re about to dive into a LOT more sparkle in Disney World (especially when the 50th Anniversary gears up in 2021). And the parks are already getting started here in 2020. So far we’ve seen sparkly drinks and sparkly Minnie ears! Even the Magic Kingdom sign is getting revamped with more shine.
And now Disney World is adding that luster to a new collection of SPARKLY CLOTHING we just found at Disney World.
For many people, fall is sweater weather. And now, it can also be soft-and-fuzzy character hat weather!

The King Arthur Carrousel Minnie Ears isn’t the only exciting piece of headwear we spotted in Magic Kingdom today. We also found a SUPER fuzzy hat that looks like the perfect accessory for those chilly fall and winter months!
We’ve always loved traveling on the Friendship Boats on Crescent Lake that stop at EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, and the Swan and Dolphin Hotels. There’s just something so leisurely and relaxing about riding a boat around Disney World.

After Disney World’s reopening, the Friendship Boats were supposed to resume running again on July 29th. However, that didn’t happen, and until recently, the boats have not been seen at all.

We’ve recently seen a bunch of super awesome new-to-us Lay’s Potato Chip flavors in the China Pavilion, like fried crab and chicken tomato. We’ve even tried CANDY potato chips! But now, we’ve found ANOTHER unique flavor…Salted Yolk Rice Dumplings! (And wait ’til you see the bag!)
When you’re packing your day bag, the new normal is to make sure you’ve got an extra face mask with you on top of your sunscreen and sunglasses before hitting the parks.

Although the switch to new health and safety measures might still feel unfamiliar to anything we’ve experienced in the past, Disney World has placed an importance on the well-being of guests and Cast Members returning to the parks.

Since Labor Day weekend, we’ve slowly started to see the parks become more crowded than they were right after Disney World reopened this summer.

According to Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Chapek, the parks are still operating at a 25% capacity with guests. However, we have definitely noticed that weekends are noticeably some of the more crowded days at Disney World right now.
