Tiana’s Bayou Adventure seems like it’s off to a ROUGH start!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure previews continue
We’ve been waiting for Disney World’s newest ride to open for over a year, and now that we’ve finally reached the home stretch to its official opening day, we couldn’t be more disheartened. Ever since the planned previews for the ride started, Disney World’s newest attraction has had a hard time staying open throughout the day. And, it doesn’t seem like it’s starting to get any better! We’re Disney Food Blog, of course, we know when new treats and snacks show up in the Disney World parks.
Disney is well known for their food; it’s practically become another attraction! They update menus and add new items and restaurants all the time. We’re ready to try it all when we find out something is new. That’s why we recently headed over to EPCOT to the France pavilion because we found out that new desserts were added to the menu at Crêpes A Emporter!
Remain calm, but a treat we have been waiting for since the Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Sandwich Disney Eats collection debuted has finally arrived! This Disney Eats collection debuted in May and featured a Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Sandwich that couldn’t even be found in the parks.
However, Disney World has come to the rescue (kind of) and released a Mickey Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich that looks strikingly similar to the treat featured in the Disney Eats collection. The treat is a mouthful of words, and we are slightly confused as it is NOT an ice cream sandwich. But when we saw that we could get our hands on a similar treat, we had to try it!
It’s almost time for the grand opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom!
The re-themed ride will be opening to the public on June 28th! Cast Members, Annual Passholders, DVC Members, and D23 Gold Members can get exclusive previews before it opens. While we wait to finally jump on this new ride, Disney thought it would be a good idea to drop some MORE news on us — food news! Coming to Disney World with the new ride are a bunch of new food items, including Tiana’s famous beignets. Let’s see what else is in store for our snacking needs!
Here at DFB, we make it our mission to do quality control food reviews in Disney World from time to time!
That means we visit restaurants that we’ve been to before and retry our old favorite snacks, just to make sure they’re still up to par! The one consistent thing about Disney World food is that it changes all the time. And that’s exactly why I went to The Lunching Pad at Magic Kingdom recently!
We are over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and headed to a galaxy far, far away!
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is our destination! Batuu is a Star Wars lover’s dream where you can live the beloved saga. You can visit the Black Spire Outpost, fly the Millennium Falcon, and fight against Kylo Ren. But we’re headed to the planet to try new space food that has just appeared at Docking Bay 7!
One of the BEST parts of going to Disney World is meeting characters — in fact, some might argue that character meet-and-greets are even better than some Disney rides.
There are also so many ways to meet characters in Disney World, too. You’ve got the traditional set meet-and-greets that happen at certain locations throughout the parks. Some characters can be caught roaming around the parks. You can also meet characters at character dining experiences. For those who want to meet a certain Inside Out 2 character, though, there will soon be a new way to do so.
Y’ALL, we are almost there! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens soon in Magic Kingdom!
The Princess and the Frog-themed water ride is set to open to everyone on June 28th, 2024 after sets of previews for exclusive groups of Disney fans. Since construction started in early 2023, we’ve been anxiously waiting for the day we got to experience the attraction, and it was supposed to be today, June 3rd, but something happened that we gotta talk about.
June 28th is a BIG day in Disney World, specifically Magic Kingdom because Tiana’s Bayou Adventure finally opens to the public!
This exciting new attraction takes place about a year after the end of The Princess and The Frog film, and Tiana is preparing a Mardi Gras party to celebrate and thank the whole town for their support of her restaurant, Tiana’s Foods. But when she finds that the final ingredient is missing, she enlists the help of the guests riding the attraction to help her find it. But before the ride opens on the 28th, there’s one big change that NEEDS to happen.
