When Disney World comes out with a new set of Mickey or Minnie ears, it’s big news.

Lately, Disney’s track record with new ears has been very mixed. We found some of the prettiest ears of all time at the Norway pavilion in EPCOT, but we also spotted some ears that looked like they’d been made out of our grandmother’s couch material. But we just spotted even MORE new ears, and we think these definitely belong in the “win” category.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort has a lot of reasons to celebrate right now.

The hotel is celebrating its own 50th Anniversary, since it opened on October 1st, 1971 along with Disney World. Lately the hotel has also finished up some big projects, like new guest rooms, an updated lobby, and the brand new Steakhouse 71 restaurant. Last year, D23 had to postpone their Disney fan event, Destination D23. And, though it may be one year later, the event will finally be taking place in Disney World from November 19th through the 21st, 2021! If you’re not familiar with it, this is an opportunity for fans to be among the first to hear exciting announcements about upcoming projects, get behind-the-scenes info, hear from special guests, and more. And, now we’ve got the FULL schedule for this year’s event!

Located over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, this interactive bar has a lively atmosphere and fun tiki drinks. Many of those tiki drinks come in amazing mugs, and Trader Sam’s releases new mugs occasionally for people to add to their collections! Yesterday, we told you about a new tiki mug that was set to be released, and today, we have a look at the actual tiki mug AND we tasted the drinks that come with it!
Today Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside reopened, so we made our way over there to check it out.

Port Orleans Resort — Riverside is a moderate resort located on the Sassagoula River. Although most of the dining options at Riverside have reopened with the resort today, one key dining spot is not set to return for a few more months.
