There are things coming back that we haven’t seen since before the parks shut down, as well as NEW things happening, and it’s almost time for the sweetest holiday of the year. It’s also a time that’s typically slower than other times of the year and has milder weather, so it’s a great month to visit in! Let’s get into the BEST things to do in Disney World in February.
In early February — even in Orlando — we like to curl up on the couch with a big mug of hot cocoa or maybe some of that delicious hot mint tea from the Morocco pavilion in EPCOT.

Punxsutawney Phil may have predicted 6 more weeks of winter (boooo), but there are already some summer flavors happening in Disney World!
This is probably due to Valentine’s Day, because strawberries and chocolate just seem to be the move when it comes to the holiday of love. Chocolate covered strawberries are coming soon to multiple spots in Disney World, and we’ll even soon see the return of that chocolate and strawberry Dole Whip we tried last year! Gideon’s Bakehouse is about to change your whole perspective on Valentine’s Day!
When you think of the holiday, you think of sweets, right? Well, Gideon’s makes sweets over at Disney Springs, but they put a little twist on a lot of items. In the past, we’ve had chocolate chip key lime pie cookies, banana bread cold brew, and white chocolate coffee bean cookies. They have new items every single month, and for Valentine’s Day, they’re making some very interesting treats to spice things up!
Disney World has SO many snacks, it can be hard to know what to order! Sometimes, you might see something on the menu and think it looks delicious, only to be let down. Unfortunately, today was one of those days when we did not enjoy our meal today in the Magic Kingdom. What can we say…we were drawn in by the enticing menu photo and tricky 50th Anniversary branding! Disney released a TON of new snacks and desserts for the 50th Anniversary. Some were adorable and delicious; others were not. We’re here to issue a warning to those of you looking for a quick lunch or mid-afternoon snack: don’t make the same mistake we did!
If you pay THOUSANDS for an exclusive Disney World experience, you’d probably want that to include some line skipping abilities, right? Well, if you pay for one very pricey and exclusive experience, you’ll get just that.
We’re just a month away from the grand opening of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (a.k.a. the Star Wars hotel!) This hotel is less of a lodging situation, and more of an immersive cruise-type experience. Guests will stay for 2 nights in the Starcruiser, and we recently saw the itinerary of everything that you’ll get to do when you visit! One part of the adventure includes an excursion to Hollywood Studios, and while there the Star Wars hotel guests will get one special perk!
