Did you know Disney has a secret shopping center in Orlando, but it’s NOT at Disney World?

That shopping center is Flamingo Crossings in Winter Garden, which Disney has BIG plans for. The area will contain hotels, stores, and restaurants. Retailers and restaurants continue to sign up to move into the area, including Target, Starbucks, Five Below, and more. Now, a new RESTAURANT is on the way.
We’ve heard some MAJOR news from Disney this week, including new character meet-and-greets, updates on the opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run, and even a Genie+ update from Magic Kingdom.

There’s a lot of new stuff coming soon, but it’s also important to keep an eye on the existing rides and restaurants in the park. Sometimes these attractions have to close temporarily for refurbishments and updates, and those closures might affect your next trip. Don’t worry, we’re here to help you out. Toontown’s grand reopening is almost here!
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
With all the excitement comes new rides, new places to eat, new merchandise, and so much more. We were able to get in for a special sneak preview today and got to try the new iconic candies that are available in Toontown!
Okay, those of us who spend more time in Disney World than Disneyland often get jealous of Disneyland because of all the amazing characters that turn up there.
The whole gang!
First, ALL the Marvel character meet and greets in Avengers Campus are AMAZING. Even Oswald the Lucky Rabbit meets guests in Disneyland (NOT fair!). Now, another VERY rare character is appearing in Toontown, which officially reopened on March 19th.
Something BIG is happening in Disneyland.

Although Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway opened a little while ago in Toontown, the rest of Toontown has been closed as it gets reimagined. We’ve already seen one of its new stores, plus we’ve got a first look at eats for its new dining spots. We’ve even had a chance to get a first look at the land ahead of its reopening. Now, though, there’s ANOTHER big Toontown update you need to know about.

Things are BUSY in Disney World right now
Although crowds and wait times have really depended on whether there was a holiday or special event that week, now we’ve seen a HUGE jump in the wait times along with spring break crowds! This comes right before the soft opening (and official opening) of TRON Lightcycle / Run, the grand opening of Roundup Rodeo BBQ, and so much more.
We’re just over a month into the 100th Anniversary celebrations, and we have to say one of our favorite parts is the merchandise.
