While the week of Thanksgiving brought high crowds, the week following the holiday was much quieter, although Disney World wasn’t exactly empty. And now that we’re getting closer to Christmas, have the wait times started to increase yet? Let’s find out!

Magic Kingdom
You can eat around the world at Festival of the Holidays in EPCOT, see Santa in the parade at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom, and see all the fun decorations around the resort. All of this festiveness brings out a lot of people to the parks, so you need to be prepared if you’re going soon! Dapper Day is a day when Disney guests are encouraged to come to the parks participating in their best attire. Back in May, EPCOT had a Dapper Day that we loved going to, but now a holiday version is here. Let’s check out some of the amazing outfits we’ve seen in the parks today, and see where you can grab some Dapper Day merchandise!
EPCOT is decked out for the festive season right now, with Festival of the Holidays in full swing. Although there’s a lot to do in this park between the food booths, entertainment, Cookie Stroll, and more, there’s one attraction that’s been CLOSED for a long time now.

Could next week FINALLY be the week it reopens? We’re seeing some clues that have us hoping! Here’s a full list of all the temporary closures in Disney World this coming week, including updates about announced or possible reopenings.
A LOT of things were announced as part of the massive EPCOT transformation before 2020, but because of the global health crisis, some projects were put on hold indefinitely.
EPCOT
Some of those projects are finally coming to fruition: we got a new Guardians of the Galaxy Ride, construction on the Moana attraction is coming right along, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure has been open for a while. But the DuckTales-themed scavenger hunt that was mentioned way back in 2019 was nowhere to be seen for quite some time — until now.

EPCOT’s got the Festival of the Holidays going on, Magic Kingdom has Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and there are tons of decorations to see everywhere. If you’ll be in Disney this holiday season and are staying at Disney’s Swan & Dolphin Resorts, there are LOTS of holiday offerings you need to know about!
There’s so much to do in Orlando during the holiday season — at Disney World alone, there are gingerbread displays, holiday snacks, a Christmas Tree Stroll, and the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays.
