This, along with Extended Evening Hours for Deluxe Resort guests, is one of the many reasons that it can pay off to stay at a Disney resort. Starting today, Early Theme Park Entry is going to be even better because of an added bonus!

The PeopleMover was evacuated for mechanical issues months before Disney World’s closures began!
Sometimes it’s just a matter of animatronics not working on rides. Sometimes, it’s animatronics being removed from rides and replaced with something bizarre (Plant Donald, we’re looking at you). Sometimes it’s a ride that just outright breaks down. And for the latter, rides will often get evacuated.
Disney World is known for change. Walt Disney’s wonderland has ALWAYS been about innovation and evolution, but never have we seen the kind of change Disney World went through in 2020 and 2021!

Kali River Rapids has reopened
With 50 years of wear and tear on some of the longer-running attractions, it makes sense that they would need a touch-up every once in a while. Disney World’s water rides tend to need those refurbs more frequently than others, and one of them just reopened after a long one!

And that’s because we’ve spent a lot of it exploring Disney’s Animal Kingdom! We love strolling around this park and we’ve been lucky enough to pay a few visits this week. Now, we’re bringing you everything NEW in food, construction, and merchandise!

After spotting a terrifying pin on a foggy day in Animal Kingdom last week, we weren’t sure what to expect this week. But we did find new Minnie Ears that don’t cost $1,000, so we consider that a win! Check out what else we found.

Holiday ears!
We’ve seen a bunch for the holidays, like Christmas wreath ears and sugar cookie ears, a few new colors including some that look like your grandma’s couch, and several for Disney World’s 50th anniversary. We’ve even seen some pairs of 50th anniversary ears that cost from $225 to $1,000 (yep, $1,000!!!). But, today we found a new pair of anniversary ears that won’t break the bank!
Disney World attractions, rides, and restaurants can close down for a myriad of reasons, sometimes planned and sometimes not.

The unplanned closures are usually due to weather or technical issues, but there are also some scheduled closures for maintenance that you can plan for during your trip.
