The Rock’s birthday is May 2nd, and in honor of the occasion (AND Cinco de Mayo), the Moana star is giving US presents! In the form of guacamole!
From pink drinks for Valentine’s Day to cranberry concoctions for Christmas, Disney World is consistently churning out photogenic drinks. And they can be as pretty as they are tasty! Well, *most* of the time.
Animal Kingdom…new treat hub?
Sometimes, certain drinks seem like they’re made mostly for Instagram, with a little less emphasis on tastiness. Such was the case with a fiery new cocktail at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
With the steadily increasing heat in Florida, we’ve been on the lookout for more refreshing drinks in Disney World. Boozy hot chocolates and St. Patrick’s Day cocktails are OUT, and quenching bevs are IN!

And boy did we find the perfect quencher in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where Nomad Lounge is celebrating Earth Month with a specialty cocktail that’s as refreshing as it is pretty!
With St. Patrick’s Day mere days away, it seems like EVERYTHING we’ve been eating and drinking lately in Disney World has been green!

Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room
You know that feeling of walking into your neighborhood bar and everyone knows you? The Cheers reference holds true of this spot too. That’s basically the feeling you get when walking into Rose and Crown. We like the food just fine but we love the feeling we get when we enter the pub doors at this EPCOT restaurant. Step inside for a pint and see what the restaurant is like since our last visit!

After Disney World reopened, many of its bars remained closed and were unable to serve alcohol to guests, due to a statewide ban of on-premise alcohol consumption at bars. This ban affected any bars that received more than 50% of their gross revenue through alcohol sales.

Recently, though, the state of Florida lifted that ban and allowed bars to reopen at 50% capacity. And we’re starting to see bars at Disney World begin to reopen, too, like the Uzima Springs Pool Bar at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the Thirsty River Bar, and Dawa Bar at Animal Kingdom.

Enchanted Rose
But have you ever explored the spell-binding lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa themed after Disney’s Beauty and the Beast? It’s called Enchanted Rose, and the space itself is very enchanting!
Ever since we saw the construction walls surrounding Homecomin’ when Disney Springs reopened on May 20th, we’ve been eagerly anticipating Shine Bar & Social.

Chef Art Smith had somehow managed to keep the project secret and we only found out about the new outdoor walk-up bar after Disney Springs began welcoming back guests! Recently, we saw a new Shine Bar & Social neon sign get installed, and today, it looks like an ENTIRE BAR has just magically appeared!
