HAPPY HOLIDAYS from Walt Disney World! The season is in full swing with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, and the Flurry of Fun at Hollywood Studios.
Each of these events are known for offering extras treats and goodies… but guess what?!? Counter Service locations all over Disney World are getting in on the extra food fun!! Check out these brand new offerings, which we found on Mobile Order via the My Disney Experience app!

Question: If you go to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and skip Casey’s Corner, were you ever really there?
Well, I can’t speak for everybody. But in my case, the answer is: Nope! Especially now that plastic cheese is back.
Wait. That’s not right. PLASTIC CHEESE IS BACK! You know how I love this King of All Condiments — ooey, gooey yellow cheese that comes on rib-sticking favorites like Chili Cheese Nachos.
Well, by now you know that Plastic Cheese disappeared for a while. We found some from time to time, but it was never enough. And we still couldn’t dunk our Corn Dog Nuggets in it whilst gazing lovingly at Cinderella Castle from the quaint patio of Casey’s Corner.
Thank goodness those dark days are over! Welcome back to Casey’s Corner, home of amazing hot dogs and even more amazing plastic cheese!
Casey’s is quintessential Main Street, U.S.A., fulfilling Walt’s vision of a Main Street reminiscent of one of his childhood home in Marceline, Missouri. It’s got tremendous architectural detail, from intricate molding to fabulous window casings.

Yay!
It’s BACK, y’all!! PLASTIC CHEESE has returned to Casey’s Corner in the Magic Kingdom! Well…sort of.
If you’ve been following this story (or saga, as it were), Plastic Cheese is pretty much my all time favorite condiment of ALL TIME. Sure, Disney calls it “Cheese Sauce,” but we all know that the name Plastic Cheese comes from nothing but my deep and abiding love for this bright orange-yellow, melty, gooey, “this-probably-isn’t-real-food-but-if-it’s-wrong-I-don’t-want-to-be-right” cheddar cheese sauce that you could use to top anything from those Hot Dogs at Casey’s to French Fries at Cosmic Ray’s and so many things beyond. Better yet, you’d often find it as a self-serve component at various Toppings Bars in Counter Service restaurants.
But in 2015, Plastic Cheese disappeared — almost overnight — from Counter Service spots all across Disney World. Though we have seen it sporadically showing up here and there as a topping on items like the Plaza Loaded Fries and the French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese at Flame Tree Barbecue, the days of self-serve Plastic Cheese were clearly long gone.
BUT!! We JUST spotted Plastic Cheese up for grabs once again at Casey’s Corner!!

Now, there are some changes: you still won’t find Plastic Cheese on the Casey’s Toppings Bar alongside the sauerkraut, onions, and more. Instead, you’ll see it on the menu. For a buck. (Yeah, yeah. I know.) [Read more…]
It’s the day you’ve been waiting for all year…
TOMORROW — July 19th — is NATIONAL HOT DOG DAY!!!
Okay, so maybe you didn’t even know that was, like, a thing. But the crew at Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom sure knows, because Casey’s is synonymous with one thing and one thing only: HOT DOGS!
So, how is Casey’s marking the occasion? By serving up “The Triple Play”!
For ONE DAY ONLY, guests can take their place in the batting order (the lines 😉 ) at Casey’s to order a shareable trio of Casey’s famous all-beef hot dogs: the Macaroni and Cheese Dog, the Buffalo Chicken Dog, and the Chili-Cheese Dog.

This offering is in addition to the recent arrival of Hand-Dipped Corn Dogs in the Magic Kingdom, found at Sleepy Hollow. If you’re celebrating the Big Day in a different park ;-D, your Hot Dog stops include (but aren’t limited to) Min & Bill’s Dockside Diner in Hollywood Studios and Refreshment Cool Post in Epcot. But don’t forget that Animal Kingdom’s Restaurantosaurus boasts a Premium Toppings Bar to top your hot dog, so right after Casey’s, Restaurantosaurus tops our list.
Wow… we’re gearing up for a LOT of new experiences coming to Walt Disney World in the coming weeks. Next month, the new “Happily Ever After” nighttime spectacular will make its debut in Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom will unveil an entire new LAND with Pandora — The World of AVATAR!
