With the 50th anniversary only a few days away, we have a LOT of updates from Magic Kingdom!
Several changes have been made and are set to be made when it comes to the Walt Disney Company.

We’ve seen reorganizations of some of its departments, a greater focus placed on streaming, and more. Recently, Disney also announced a big change for many of its employees when it comes to their working location, and now we’ve got an update on the situation.
SO many things are set to open, debut, or otherwise become officially available on October 1st, 2021, for the start of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary.
The 50th Anniversary is Almost Here
On October 1st, we’ll get new fireworks shows, a new daytime show, new merchandise, and so many other things in the parks. But, now we’ve learned of ANOTHER new thing you’ll spot on October 1st, and it relates to select Disney World Cast Members.
To many people, working at Disney World would be a dream come true.
Cast Members
There are a LOT of roles for Disney to fill to keep Disney Parks running smoothly. We’ve seen Disney and restaurants or other spots that operate in Disney World posting a number of job openings over the past few weeks and months, and now we’ve seen even more announced! Later this month, Disney World will be hosting a job fair for a few new job openings, so if you have dreams of becoming a Cast Member, here’s all the info you need.

Over the past several months, things have changed dramatically at Disney World and around the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the biggest things we’ve been keeping an eye on is the situation with Disney’s Cast Members — furloughs, layoffs, and hirings.
Magic Kingdom
As Walt Disney once said, “You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality.” What happens when a lot of those people who make the dream a reality are furloughed or laid off, and then things change and thousands of Cast Members are needed to fill the parks again? We’re taking a look at that today and just what Disney might have done that could become one of its biggest regrets.
The situation with COVID-19 has been changing and developing over the past few months in the U.S. and around the world.

We’ve seen mask requirements change, COVID-19 vaccines get approved for more age groups, and more. Not too long ago, Disney announced that it would be requiring all salaried and non-union hourly Cast Members to get the COVID-19 vaccine by a certain date. Disney’s CEO, Bob Chapek, recently spoke to one news source about COVID-19 and made a statement as to the Company’s overall position regarding the vaccine requirement for its employees.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is opening in EPCOT on October 1st for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration!
Something exciting is coming to the France Pavilion!
We can’t wait to see the little mouse’s new ride soon! But there are some people who will get to see the new ride even before it opens this October!
The Disney Wish will join the Disney Cruise Line fleet in Summer 2022 and we can’t WAIT!
