BREAKING: Muppets Courtyard Is CLOSING in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

A lot of exciting things are happening in Disney World right now, and there are even more exciting things coming up soon.

Test Track is getting a re-theme. A new Zootopia show is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which is also getting a brand new land, Pueblo Esperanza. Magic Kingdom is getting two new Cars rides AND a new Villains land, and a villains-themed show is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. However, something else is coming to Hollywood Studios, too, and that means a land will have to close down to make way for construction. Now, we know when that will happen.

There’s a lot on the way for Magic Kingdom in the next few years.

We know we’re getting entire new lands in the form of Villains Land and the Cars-themed land taking the place of Tom Sawyer Island, but there’s also a new Pirates Tavern coming to Adventureland sometime in 2025, and if we’re right, and if this secret construction project is what we think it is, we have some updates to discuss.

Two Game-Changing Updates Announced for EPCOT in 2025

Disney World is changing, and soon, there will be even more to experience across all four parks!

Earlier this year, at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, it was revealed that Disney World would be getting eight new rides! Unfortunately, this means that the parks will be filled with construction walls for a while as these new projects are built. The good news is that while some projects are years away, a ton of new offerings will debut next year, two of which will be at EPCOT!

2025 is only a few months away, but we already know there’s a lot of change coming to Disney World this next year.

There are construction projects beginning in every single Disney World park (unless some get pushed to 2026, which is always a possibility), Test Track will be reopening with its new reimagined theme sometime in 2025, and of course, that’s not counting the changes that haven’t been announced yet (and these days it feels like Disney almost always has an announcement up their sleeve). But all of these changes don’t necessarily mean we’ll see MORE crowds in the Disney World parks — here’s why we think we could see FEWER crowds in Disney World in 2025.

Disneyland is BUSY right now — a lot of stuff is going on in the parks and at Downtown Disney.

Downtown Disney is getting LOADS of new restaurants plus a newly revamped sweets shop (YES!!!). California Adventure is getting a new Avatar-themed land and a new Coco ride. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is getting ready to open SOON in Disneyland. Haunted Mansion is getting a new queue and dedicated gift shop. Well, we just got our first look at the new gift shop because the construction walls are DOWN.
