Today was a HUGE day. On top of the Disney World Resorts re-opening, the Disney Park Pass system went live for the first time.
However, there’s a lot to keep in mind when it comes to the resorts and the new theme park reservation system.
It really does feel like the months have blown by since Disney World has been closed!
On top of the Disney Park Pass going live tomorrow on June 22nd, the Disney Resorts will be re-opening again to guests. Since there are plenty of new health and safety regulations (and even guidelines for Good Neighbor resorts), stays on Disney property are going to look totally different that we’ve seen before.
The Disney Park Pass Reservation system will be going live tomorrow on June 22nd at 7 AM EST!
While a number of Disney-owned hotels prepare ready to welcome resort guests back that same day, many guests are looking forward to the moment they are able to step back into the Disney World parks. THEN, the Swan and Dolphin’s website was updated to state that both resorts will remain closed through July 29th.
When the parks re-open on July 11th and July 15th, Disney World will be making some changes to how dining, hotels, attractions, and more operate.
And, Disney dropped some MAJOR news this past weekend about how the resorts will be operating when they open back up again soon.
Update: As of June 8th, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin’s Website now states the resort will remain closed through July 29th, 2020.
Disney World has just dropped SO much resort news, our heads are still spinning a bit.
On top of new dining stipulations at the resorts and the virtual chat option on My Disney Experience for guests, stays at the hotels are about to see some huge changes when they re-open. But if you don’t currently have a hotel reservation, Disney World Resort currently isn’t accepting new ones.
If you’re planning on going to Walt Disney World when it reopens on July 11th and are staying at a Disney-owned resort hotel, one of the BIGGEST questions on your mind is probably: What resort services WILL and WON’T be available?
According to new updates on Walt Disney World’s official website first spotted by theme park reporter Scott Gustin (@ScottGustin) on Twitter, certain hotel services will be modified or unavailable during the initial reopening phase.
