Earlier this past summer, actress Scarlett Johansson sued the Walt Disney Company for breach of contract. According to Johansson, Disney stifled box office potential by releasing Black Widow exclusively on Disney+, cutting into her potential bonus earnings, which was a reflection of box office performance.

The lawsuit was followed by a back-and-forth between the two parties, eventually resulting in Disney seeking private arbitration for the case.

We’ve been keeping an eye on construction for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind for a while now (we even got our first look inside yesterday!!), and we’re excited to finally start counting down the days until its opening!
Can you believe we’re only DAYS away from Disney World’s 50th anniversary?! We couldn’t be more excited to experience all the new entertainment coming to the parks. And, the Magic Kingdom has been transforming before our eyes with decorations on Cinderella Castle, golden statues, a themed stage, and more!
The crowds are HERE for Happily Ever After
While we’ll also be seeing the new Disney Enchantment fireworks and Main Street, U.S.A. projections around the park, that means it’s time to bid farewell to the Happily Ever After fireworks. Even though it’s bittersweet, we can’t wait to celebrate this piece of Disney history during its last showing tonight! And, we’re taking you with us to the final set of Happily Ever After fireworks in the Magic Kingdom!

Disney gave us a sneak peek at all sorts of new treats that would be coming to the treat stop, including Skittles Sugar Cookie Pies, an interactive candy wall, M&M wreath decorations, and more! Along with old Confectionery favorites, 30 new treats are also on the menu for everyone to try!

Na’vi River Journey
We all know and love features like the shadows during the queue of Peter Pan’s Flight and the immersive environment of Animal Kingdom’s Na’vi River Journey, but there is SO much new technology in the works right now. We’ll see facial recognition, a walking Baby Groot, massive human-controlled character puppets, real lightsabers, and more! And, now Disney is working with Amazon to bring a bit of that awesome technology into your home with the brand new “Hey, Disney!” feature on Alexa devices!
We’re about to have a week FULL of new treats in Disney World as they begin to debut over 150 treats (!!!) in honor of the 50th anniversary!

Along with all the Disney Recipes that we share with you, now you can learn how to make some of Disney World’s fan-favorite menu items right in your kitchen.
Step right up, we’ve got something to show you! There’s something different over at the Dumbo attraction in Storybook Circus. That tiny little mouse by Dumbo’s side seems to have flown the coop! Did he borrow Dumbo’s ears?!

While we were visiting Storybook Circus in the Magic Kingdom, we noticed that a familiar friend wasn’t where he belonged!
Lately, we’ve been seeing something new every day in Disney World — especially with the 50th Anniversary starting soon! It feels like only yesterday we were anxiously waiting for the gold statues to debut in the parks, and now we’re tracking the installation of Lightning Lane signs and searching for refurbished park icons!

Well, today is no exception! The Cinderella castle stage has been empty for a long time now (we miss those castle stage shows!), but it looks like the stage is getting a 50th Anniversary makeover to match the castle!
