The opening of the new Mickey’s PhilharMagic attraction in Disney California Adventure is quickly approaching!
And today, Disney gave us a great reminder of that.
“Life is the bubbles” with the Mermaid Cupcake at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort’s Landscape of Flavors!
Swim along with us as we dive into the mezMERizing details of this sweet treat!
If you’re visiting Magic Kingdom in the next several months (a cast member says NINE months in all!), plan for some significant changes to the parking lot, TTC (Ticket and Transportation Center), and Tram system. The usual tram pick up and drop off location at the Transportation and Ticket center is closed for refurbishment, and that makes for some longer walks. Let’s take a look.
Currently, the tram drop off and pick up locations are at the edge of the Heroes and Villains lots that are closest to the TTC (namely Jafar and Aladdin). [Read more…]
Welcome back to Magic Kingdom for a little What’s New! Today we’ve got a peek at some new-to-us merchandise, character cones (the saga of Hei Hei continues!), and miscellaneous info (including an Easter Bunny update)!
So just two days ago we passed along the sad news that Hei Hei, the beloved character cone at Aloha Isle, had flown the coop (we’re not done with that pun yet, obviously). [Read more…]
We’re always looking for new ways to enjoy Disney Parks treats, and when we come up with a new food hack — a combination of awesome treats — we just have to share. These five Disney Parks food hacks make dining on Disney sweet treats twice as fun!
Churros are a total must on any Disney trip (especially in Disneyland, where they’re served up warm and fresh!), and combining them with an ice cream sundae is kind of a genius idea. [Read more…]
We’re always on the lookout for What’s New in the parks of Walt Disney World, and today we’re journeying to Animal Kingdom! Come along as we check out fun new merchandise, a seasonal cupcake, and… otters? Yeah…otters!
We start our tour with a look at the Times & Animal Guide! [Read more…]
Fans of The Lion King, this one is for you! Have you ever been strolling through Animal Kingdom on a mad hunt for Lion King merch? I have… and for the longest time, it was pretty hard to come by. But with July 19th (the release date of the live-action film) quickly approaching AND the 25th Anniversary of the animated film’s release, we have started to slowly notice more Lion King merchandise trickling into both Disneyland AND Disney World.
We found the new Hakuna Matata Spirit Jersey when searching through Disneyland for all of the new items of the week, and now it’s available at Animal Kingdom, too! The front is branded with the classic film logo. [Read more…]
Disney’s flash color trends are becoming the stuff of legend! It all began in late-2017 with Rose Gold (remember all the rose gold treats?!), which was followed by Briar Rose Gold, Iridescent, Potion Purple, Dapper Yellow, Imagination Pink, Magic Mirror Metallic, and — now! — Arendelle Aqua. Guests have gone wild for each color trend, donning spirit jerseys and Minnie Ears, snapping on fanny packs, and munching on trendy treats.
The original color trend is the trickiest personality to nail down — and not just because a lot of us got into it for the cupcakes! 😉 Rose gold is created by combining yellow gold and copper, thus creating the pinkish/bronzish color we all know and some of us love.
The connotation of pink is typically calm and optimistic, while metallics like gold, copper, and bronze equate to wealth and success. [Read more…]
opens in Disneyland on May 31 and in Walt Disney World on August 29. In addition to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, lots of new merchandise locations, and plenty of intergalactic immersion, we’re really looking forward to the food (and drinks!). Black Spire Outpost will play host to three new eateries and two new watering holes — you know we’re gonna try ’em all!
When Galaxy’s Edge opens, we’re going to need a quick burst of energy to fuel the fun. Enter: Milk Stand. This stand will serve up — you guessed it! — milk (well…kinda)! But since this is the planet Batuu, it’s Blue Milk! And since this is actually Florida, this non-dairy drink will be soft-frozen like a milkshake to keep us cool in the Outpost!
Milk Stand will also serve Green Milk, which Disney says has a refreshing citrus component. [Read more…]

Thanks to DFB Insta-pal @YellowBeadsAndMe, we get to see these adorable little bunny feet and, well, the buttercream backside of the bunny, too — complete with sugar tail. [Read more…]
