Welcome back to another roundup of the latest food, merchandise, and general updates from Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
We’ve had our fair share of food hacks recently, and this latest trip to Animal Kingdom included a new way for us to enjoy a frozen cocktail on a hot Florida day. We also spotted a newly reopened play area for kids to enjoy. That’s just a little sneak peek of what’s ahead; keep reading to learn what else is new in Animal Kingdom!
Have you visited Disney World’s WILDEST park recently?
We’ve stopped into Disney’s Animal Kingdom a few times over the past week and we’ve had a BLAST. That means that we’re bringing you all the latest news in food and merchandise from this animal-focused park.
Even though it’s been about nine months since Disney World reopened [and more since this post was originally published], there are still lots of things around the resort that have remained closed.
Between the rides, restaurants, and resorts, there are a lot of locations that have yet to welcome guests again. Here’s a quick look at everything that still hasn’t opened in Disney World.
Because ranking the lands of Magic Kingdom by its snacks wasn’t torturous enough for us, we’ve decided to do the impossible yet AGAIN!
That’s right — we’ve decided to delve once more into these strange, uncharted waters of ranking all the Disney snacks we love — for sheer entertainment purposes ONLY! (We not so secretly love most of these snacks, so it’s too hard to choose!!)

We’ve seen some awesome food updates in Animal Kingdom recently like the Bugs ‘n Grubs Cupcake and the Simba Pretzel so we headed back over to check in on some of our faves and to see if we can find anything new! The Animal Kingdom Tasting Sampler — which made its limited-time debut last winter — is returning for a third run this winter!
The Tasting Sampler — which goes on sale TOMORROW — costs $50 and includes two digital value cards: one $50 card that can be used at over 40 outdoor food and beverage locations throughout the park (and does not expire), and a bonus $10 card that can be used at the following quick-service restaurants after 4 PM from December 22, 2019 through January 4, 2020: Restaurantosaurus, Pizzafari, Flame Tree Barbecue, and Satu’li Canteen.
