You’ve got a BIG choice to make. Are you going to EPIC UNIVERSE this year? Or DISNEY WORLD?
It’s a LOT of pressure, but we’re here to help make your final decision a LOT less stressful.
There are some downright strange traditions that people follow in Disney World, but we approve of them.
When planning a Disney World trip, it can feel like learning a new language. Things like Lightning Lane and MagicBand+, and all of the acronyms (DAK, MK, TTC, etc). Scheduling can be shockingly detailed, and fans in the parks certainly have some interesting obsessions. So today, we’re breaking down some weird traditions you’ll probably only see in Disney World.
It’s inevitable — Disney World increases prices on at least something every year.
And from 2025 to 2026, we saw quite a few changes when it came to prices. Here are SEVEN things that increased in price this year.
With all the construction going on at Disney World, we bet you forgot about this smaller refurbishment at Magic Kingdom!

Storybook Circus
Since February of this year, Big Top Souvenirs in Magic Kingdom’s Storybook Circus has been closed for refurbishment. Disney has yet to announce an opening date, so we’ve been popping by from time to time to check on the progress. This most recent update is HUGE!
Things are changing at Disney Springs!
After nearly 30 years at its current home, Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop has been temporarily relocated while its Marketplace location undergoes a renovation. The renovations are expected to be completed sometime in Spring 2027, so we stopped by the temporary location to check it out and bring you all the details you need to know!
Life in Disney World is so much easier with a refillable resort mug by your side.
You buy a mug at the start of your vacation and get unlimited refills during your stay — there’s nothing better than that. WAIT! Actually, there is something better — Dollywood’s refillable mug! And we think Disney World should take a note out of Dollywood’s book to make their system better!
A big change has hit Magic Kingdom, and we don’t know what to think about it.
One of our favorite attractions, and favorite ways to beat the heat in Tomorrowland, is going under a long refurbishment and refresh, and we don’t know what to do with ourselves!
You thought the Disney World changes were over for a while? HA! It feels like they’re never going to end these days!

Construction is going on all around the resort thanks to the addition of new lands like Villains Land, Monstropolis, and Pueblo Esperanza. While these are examples of major projects, there are little changes going on all the time as well. For example, Disney World is changing BIG TIME next month! Grab your costumes and let’s see what major change is coming.
July is one of the busiest months of the year when it comes to vacationing at Disney World.
