While it’s been around for a while, the rules surrounding it have changed quite a bit over the past few years. After the COVID-19 closures of 2020, Cast Member lanyards were set aside in favor of pin trading boards across Disney’s parks. Lanyards have slowly started to return, so we figured it was the right time to go over some of the “unspoken” rules you should be following when pin trading!

It’s probably one of the most magical times of year to visit. You’ve got gorgeous holiday decorations to see, plus a LOT of amazing holiday snacks to try. There’s the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays PLUS Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party AND Jollywood Nights. But you’re probably also looking forward to doing some shopping, too, right? Well, we’re about to give you some solid advice when it comes to souvenirs.

Picture this: you’re in EPCOT in late November, the air is crisp, and the Festival of the Holidays event is happening all around. Seasonal EPCOT festivals are a blast! Who doesn’t love an excuse to stroll around the World Showcase and eat small plates of delicious food?

OK, so clearly, we enjoy the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays (and all the other festivals in EPCOT). But that doesn’t mean we walk around the park with rose-colored glasses. Unfortunately, we’ve gotta share some bad news about the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays.
It’s been a BUSY week in Disney World, to say the least.
Getting busier
That was to be expected, though. It’s the week of Thanksgiving after all! Most kids are out of school and it’s a popular time to travel to the Most Magical Place on Earth. We’ve noticed the crowds which caused some Mobile Order challenges and the price of Genie+ reached its highest point again due to demand. The skip-the-line service even sold out! But what did the wait times look like throughout the week? It’s time to find out.
It’s no secret that we love cheese. We’ve written about it A LOT.

There is certainly no shortage of cheese snacks in Disney World. We LIVE off corn dog nuggets with plastic cheese sauce. We love a good charcuterie plate with a variety of cheese. Cheesy bread is OUR JAM. So when we discovered that you could get foot-long mozzarella sticks in Disney World, YOU KNOW we had to check it out.

It’s TIME!
Yep, over the past week, we officially entered the holiday season at Disney World, Thanksgiving came and went, and now, we have our sights set on Christmas and the New Year. In case you weren’t at Disney World this week to witness all the chaos that the start of the holiday season involves, this post is for you!
