Magical things happen in Disney World all the time.
But sometimes, special events really wow us and make our jaws drop. And, folks in Magic Kingdom today got a real show — they just needed to look up!
Look at that castle! Isn’t it magnificent? Don’t you wish you could visit such a magical place every day? Well, we may not be able to afford a room inside the Cinderella Castle (those rooms are priceless, after all!), but we can save a little money with our Disney Visa.

Magic Kingdom
If you own a Disney Visa card, we’ve got some great news: there are several Disney discounts available — just for YOU! Let’s talk about it.
On your marks, get set, GO!
If you’re a runner or are thinking about joining the club — runDisney events just might be the perfect thing for you! Not only do you get the chance to push yourself to the limit (or just have fun!) you also get to run through the Disney World parks. And, if you’re looking to add some of these races to your upcoming calendar, we officially know when they’ll be!
We know that a trip to Disney World is not cheap.
One of our goals at Disney Food Blog is to help you find ways to cut these costs and keep your trip within your budget. We want you to have a great experience while not breaking the bank.
But we also believe that there are just some things in Disney World that are absolutely worth the money and fun. For example, staying at a Disney World hotel is definitely worth the money for all the perks you get like transportation to the parks, extra hours in the parks, and the complete immersion into the Disney experience.
Outside of staying at a Disney hotel, there’s one thing we think you should definitely splurge on while at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Don’t count on a Disney World restaurant to have the same menu as the last time you visited.
Why? That’s because Disney World is always changing up menus, adding seasonal foods, and changing prices. For example, the Fantasmic! dining package just went up in price. But that’s not the only big change we had this week in the world of Disney dining: some restaurants also just changed their menus.
It’s Halloween season — and you know what that means!
It’s time to enjoy the last few days of spooky season before Christmas takes over Disney World (and it already is in some places). That means enjoying the last few days of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the Mickey Pumpkin wreaths, and the Halloween snacks. But we just found a NEW Halloween snack that…well…seems a bit familiar.
As hard as it is to believe, the end of 2023 is near.
There are only 60 days till Christmas (fun tip: if you search ‘days til Christmas’ on Google, you can open a present that takes you to the ‘Santa Tracker’!). With the holidays right around the corner, the new year is soon to follow. Disney has already announced several changes coming to their tickets in 2024 and we’re here to break those down for you.
There are over 100 dining options in all of Disney World.
Most of them are amazing locations to grab some tasty food. There are many different types and styles of restaurants to choose from. Some are quick service while others are table service locations that aren’t so fast. With so many options to choose from, we narrowed it down to six restaurants that take a bit longer but are SO worth your time.
So you’ve planned your Disney World trip, and you are READY to go.
You’ve figured out your budget, you’ve booked your hotel and flight, and you’ve made your park pass reservations. All that’s left is counting down the days, but if you’re visiting Disney World soon, you’ll also want to make sure you’ve checked park hours — we’ve got a big update to share with you!
There might not be a better time to go to Disney World than in 2024.
First up, you’re going to have some new restaurants to check out, which, well, is ALWAYS a bonus for us. But you’ll also see a new attraction at Magic Kingdom later in the year, as well as get to see EPCOT AFTER the transformation has been completed. Plus the Disney Dining Plan is returning in 2024, you probably won’t need to make park pass reservations anymore, and park hopping is going back to normal. But when it comes to hotels, not ALL will be perfect in 2024, so we’re going to tell you where NOT to book.
